Chapter: The drastic turn of fate

prologue

Aljakóen is a long forgotten country. It is ruled by a cruel ruler who knows no scruples. In the realm itself there has been a war between the king and the so-called Black Rose order for millennia. The order tries to defeat the immortal ruler and finally to free the country. According to a prophecy, this will happen through the vampire twins Minohem and Lîahnee. But fate took a drastic turn:

They were standing in an arena and all kinds of beings had gathered around them. They have come from far and wide just to see the spectacle that is about to take place here. Most of them were the people, the supporters of the king and, in secret, the members of the Black Rose. Some time ago the king succeeded in capturing two of the resistance again. But this time it wasn’t just any runaway, but the people’s last hope.

In the center of all were exactly two figures, a boy and a girl. They looked a lot alike, the same teak-brown hair - a little longer for the girl. Her skin was whiter than snow and gleamed in the sunshine. The boy had golden-brown eyes and the girl as blue as the sea.

[b]The loud murmuring of those present subsided as another figure - completely wrapped in black - entered the arena. It seemed to radiate evil. Slowly she stepped forward and took a seat on a small throne. With his fiery red eyes he looked at the twins, who stood in front of him tied up and completely helpless.

[b]>> The twins. << he said in a deep, dark voice. >> You've been in my way for so long. If it hadn't been for you, I would have lifted our empire out of the shadow of oblivion and let the rest of the world suffer under our power. <<His eyes were still fixed on the two. >> Your vision is sick! <<, said Lîahnee coldly.

The assembled eyes widened in shock. Nobody has ever dared talk to their king like that! But it was known that the twins had almost no respect for anyone.

[b]>> That is your opinion, my dear. << was the only answer she got. >> I'll make my vision come true. But first: do you have one last wish? <<
>> Now don't pretend to be nice! <<, Minohem snapped cheekily. >> We already have a wish, but you cannot fulfill it. <<
>> As you want. << With that he clapped his hands and flames broke out around the siblings. Completely
they stood motionless and waited.

[b]>> The victory is up to you <<, Lîahnee shouted. >> but ... <<
>> we'll be back. << her brother finished the sentence.
In front of everyone's eyes, the fire came closer and closer to the twins. First it licked her clothes, then her skin until the smoke blocked the view.

[b]But Minohem's and Lîahnee's promise came true sooner than expected ...
