Chapter: Hi Papa...

The light wind blew through her hair. As she entered the gate, she saw two men sitting to her left. They seemed to be guarding the gate. Without thinking about it, Mimiko approached her. "Good evening," she said softly. One of the two replied: "Good evening. May I ask why you are entering our village?" Mimiko smiled. "I'm here for the Chunin selection exams. My name is Mimiko Yamashita." "You're coming very late, don't you think? The exams start tomorrow," replied the other. "I know," replied the girl, "but there were a few problems. We didn't move very quickly because of the storm earlier. Could you tell me where to find my father?" But now the two men looked stupid the laundry. That she took the selection exams - okay. But that she would have to look for her father too - pretty unlikely. "Take care, Mimiko," one of them began again, "the thing with your father and so ... Well, it doesn't matter. Who is it?" Mimiko smiled: "Kakashi Hatake." Now they started to laugh. It sounded mocking, implausible. Only Mimiko didn't know what the joke was about. She blushed and bowed her head. The two men fell silent immediately. "Listen," said the one, still grinning, "no one has ever heard that Kakashi had a daughter. Or any other family at all. And besides-" "But I'm his daughter," the girl interrupted angrily, "and he also has a wife, if you want to know! Mom actually didn't want me to see him, but I persuaded her that I could stay with him during the exam period. And he would certainly recognize me too ... " She bowed her head again, ashamed of having yelled at the men like that. They were silent.
"Even if he were your father, you couldn't find him now." Mimiko looked at him questioningly. "He's on a late night mission to Kirigakure."She didn't notice the rest of what he was talking about. Kirigakure ... Maybe he had been looking for her and would be disappointed if he didn't find her. But her mother would tell him that she was already in Konoha could, right? She thought hard. What should she do? Travel back and hope to meet him? But Kirigakure was big and by the time she got there he would surely be back again.
"Do you now know where he lives?" She asked impatiently. The men told her the street and described the way to her. If she understood correctly, she would have to go to the other end of the village. That annoyed her a lot, but what should she do? So it started with a heavy heart. In the meantime she thought that she could take a look at the village on the side. Finally she went across it. There had to be something to discover.
She walked along the long rows of houses and discovered here and there clubs, bars, snack bars, restaurants and much more that she was interested in. But not a single person was to be found in these places. That depressed her. At least someone to chat with could have kept her company. It wasn't that hard, was it? Apparently yes. She kept walking, bored. It was quiet on the streets. Really inanimate.
But there, in a restaurant called 'Ichirakus Nudelbar', someone seemed to be sitting. Not just one, even three. She entered the house and looked around. It was small but nice. The three people noticed her and recognized her by her headband. A blond with blue eyes asked: "Hello, you are from Kirigakure, eh?" Mimiko nodded, slightly intimidated. "My name is Naruto. These are Sakura" - he pointed to a pink-haired girl with green eyes - "and Shikamaru." - a boy with brown eyes and hair. "What's your name?" Naruto then asked. "Mimiko Yamashita," she replied. “But you can call me Mimi.” She smiled. Finally again. She smiled not only out of friendliness, but also out of happiness.
She sat down between Naruto and Shikamaru and talked about herself. Then the others told each other about themselves. They talked about God and the world. Finally Sakura gave the cue: "Kakashi should be back again, right?" Mimiko repeated: "Kakashi? Did you just say Kakashi?" Sakura looked at her puzzled and answered: "Yes, how do you know him?" the young girl. Then she said: "He ... he is ..." She bowed her head, got up a little later and started walking - with one goal. Naruto, Shikamaru and Sakura looked after her in confusion and then looked at each other. They no longer understood the world.
Mimiko ran like she had never run before. Just to finally see him. Tears were already welling up in her eyes and she didn't even know why! Was it out of anticipation? Or out of fear? Or maybe she was just excited? Or all at once? She went crazy thinking about it. The most impossible thoughts were buzzing around in her head. Thousands of questions piled up. And she found no answers. She couldn't find any answers.
She turned into an alley, hoping for a short cut. It was narrow and the air was stuffy, but it was also short. After the girl came out again, she turned left. She already saw the house in front of her. It wasn't far away. She already knew what this building looked like. Once when she was here in Konoha with her parents, her father had to stay right there. She cried terribly and never forgot the house again. Now it was there in front of her. Just like back then.
Mimiko stopped in front of it. The sign with the doorbell said 'HATAKE' in capital letters. So this is where she had to go. Assuming he would even accept it. She walked slowly up the stone stairs. On the fifth and final step, she stopped. Her hand trembled as she moved it to the doorbell. Once she pressed. Then a second time. Nothing moved. Mimiko bowed her head. She put the bag down and sat on the steps. Now she was waiting. Either he came out or in. She had to meet him at some point. She felt how tired she was now, but she wasn't going to sleep, no. She yawned, her songs closed as if by themselves. She felt nothing more. She couldn't even dream anything.
"Hey, little one ..." someone shook her shoulder. Gentle, but strong. She didn't want to open her eyes. She mumbled: "Leave me, I'm waiting for Papa ..." Then she slapped her hand away and buried her face in her arms again, which she had meanwhile put on her knees without noticing. Suddenly she opened her eyes and looked up. It was pitch dark. All she recognized was a tall, manly shape crouching down next to her. "Are ... are you Mimiko?" This man asked now. She nodded.
Only now did she notice that it was raining. The moon stood high up and lit her face. She was soaked to the skin once again. And the guy didn't look any better either. She couldn't see the man's face. His mouth and nose were covered by a black mask and she couldn't see into his eyes. She blinded the light of the moon too much for that. She felt his hand brush her cheek and blushed. She slapped his hand away for the second time and stood up. "What is that supposed to mean? She asked roughly. He sat up too. Then he turned to the moon and pulled her in front of him." Do you recognize me now? ", he asked. Mimiko looked into his face. Her eyes widened and her mouth fell open.
After staring at him for a while, she mumbled, "Papa ..." Kakashi smiled. Then he lifted her up on his arm. Mimiko clung to him. She smelled his familiar smell. He smelled like ... like papa ... (xD) She immediately started crying. Now she couldn't hold back her feelings anymore. It felt like an eternity standing there.
