How it started ...

At exactly six thirty my alarm clock woke me up with its annoying tone. I tossed it against the wall, hoping it would break. Unfortunately I had bad luck that day and the alarm clock kept ringing until I got up and switched it off. I sighed in exasperation and went to the bathroom. "Oops, how do I look?" my short black hair stuck out in all directions. They shimmered blue in the sun. I quickly combed her, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. Then I went to my room and put on a white skirt and a blue top with a yellow bow. Meanwhile I hopped down the stairs in a good mood. "Tomorrow honey. Slept well?" asked my mother and kissed me on the forehead. “Yes, I have to hurry.” I answered, grabbed a loaf and ran out of the house.
Then I got my bike out of the garage and went to see my best friend Lisa. "Morning Cha. You are late as always," she said. "Have a nice morning to you too." I said and smiled at her. Lisa was a real morning grouch and could never stand my good mood in the morning. “Let's go then.” I quickly got on again and kicked after her. “I hate Monday,” she groaned in exasperation. I giggled and was given a dirty look. When we arrived at the school, we quickly parked our bikes and walked into the school house. We went to the same class. More precisely in the 10a of the Steffersen High. We were the last in the classroom, but we were lucky because Mr. Miller was always ten minutes late on Mondays, so we took our seats in no hurry. "And how was your weekend?" I asked Lisa and turned to her. "Oh, that's okay. On Saturday I did something with Tim and on Sunday I went to the ZOO with my siblings." "What you met with Tim!" it escaped me. Tim was the school crush badly. At the moment he was with Chris, a chick. "Yes, you know that our fathers are friends. The guy is actually not as great as he looks. "She said. Lisa had always had something against Tim. But she also knew him from an early age." And how did you come to meet each other? "I asked curiously. When it came to Tim, I was always curious Like all girls, I had a crush on him, only I was much too shy to speak to him. "Well on Friday he and his father came over to our place to go fishing and Tim said if we could do something on Saturday to make his girlfriend jealous. "Oh yes, Lisa could be a witch. I was glad to be her friend." Really now and did it help? "I asked, but there was no answer because Mr. Miller walked into the classroom and handed out the test. which we wrote on Thursday. "You're lucky, Cha. "Said Lisa and looked jealously at my two. I was an ace in math. Lisa, on the other hand, was a typical three-candidate." Well, I can help you with your next work. "Although that never did anything. Lisas just got along when she wanted to manage more than a three. The morning passed quickly and soon we were sitting in the cafeteria." Oh yes, we will have sport soon. "Lisa screamed and hopped around. She loved sports and was the best in school. I was also really good at sports. I also did karate on the side. I already had the blue second belt. Sport was great fun as always and when we looked exhausted entered the gym, we both laughed happily. Lisa's bad mood quickly evaporated. On the way home we didn't talk anymore. "Hey, you have karate today, don't you?" Lisa asked. Same question as every Monday. "Yes, I have today , on Wednesday and Friday karate. Why do you want to know that? "" There's a rumor going around. Apparently people are supposed to watch you and then smuggle you into the mafia. "She looked at me seriously. I, on the other hand, looked confused at first and then I laughed and roared and held my stomach. If I hadn't been on the bike I would have rolled myself on the floor. "You are not serious, are you?" I asked her and started laughing again. She frowned and suddenly started laughing along. "It's all right, it's just a rumor," she said, gasping for breath. "Ok, I have to go then." I called and drove off again.
I still giggled slightly. When I got home, I pushed my bike into the garage and then walked around the house. I sat at the table in the garden and enjoyed the sun. It was a wonderful day. I decided to do my homework outside. When I was finished, I jogged into the house past my mother, who looked after me questioningly, and put on my karate gi. The suit that man wore in karate and looped my belt around my waist. When I got back downstairs, my mother was still looking at me questioningly. "Today is karate mom." I said and her face changed from questioning to horrified. "Hups, I forgot. Can you make it to the bus?" I looked at my watch and shook my head. "Well then I'll drive you. When are you leaving?" "At seven, but then I can take the bus." I said and didn't let it be seen that it was embarrassing when my mother drove me. She grabbed the car key and practically ran to the car while I quietly followed her. When I got to the dojo, I jumped out of the car and hurried away from my mother.
Sometimes it was good to be an only child, but at times like that I would rather have siblings who would relieve me of part of my mother's love. I got inside just in time. After training, I was totally exhausted. I put on my shoes and went to the bus stop. "Hey there is our karate chick again." One of the guys who trained after me greeted me. I was the only girl, no wonder they teased me. But I didn't know why they called me chick. As always, I bowed my head and said nothing. When the bus arrived, I was happy to get away and got on.
When I got home it was already eight o'clock. I got out and ran to our house. It was only one street away. I was just opening the door when I heard my parents arguing. I hated that screaming. I was always too happy to suppress that sort of thing. I crept closer to understand the voices, they have been arguing more and more recently. The door closed a lot behind me. Shit. They stopped. "Charlotte, are you there?" asked my mom. "Yes, I'm back! Hello!" I called. As always, Mom greeted me with a kiss on the forehead. I really didn't like that. "Hello honey, how was karate?" asked my father. "Pretty good. Soon I'll take the next exam to get the brown belt." "That's good," he muttered and went into the living room, followed by my mother. “I'm going to bed.” I called and ran up the stairs. Then I got in the shower, blow-dried my hair and put on my pajamas. Then I took a book and went to bed. I needed a book to balance exercise and concentration.
That evening, however, I couldn't sleep, so I saw my parents arguing. Then I heard mom scream. "Pack your things and get out of here, I never want to see you again!" I heard footsteps and someone tore open a closet. I shot out of bed and ran downstairs. I stopped Dad as he was about to leave the house. "You couldn't do that!" I screamed. "Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about that. Your mom no longer loves me and I don't love her anymore. We'll split up." I stared at him in disbelief for a moment. He walked past me. I heard him get into a car, probably a taxi. I went into the living room and found mom crying. "Mom everything OK?" I asked concerned and took her in my arms. "It's okay, go to sleep now."She said definitely and broke away from me. I stared at her for a moment in disbelief. Then I turned around and went to my room. That night I hardly slept at all.
