couldn't understand how you can stay calm. With two coffee mugs from the cofeshop opposite, she made her way to the station where Sorana worked. It was the cardio-thoracic surgery, ward 20 A-E. This also included the intensive care unit and from time to time duty on the associated internal wards. Usually Sorana was mostly on intensive care. That's why Miki made his way there.
After waiting endlessly for the elevator and stopping on each floor, Miki finally arrived on the 20th floor. She went to the right because that was the entrance to the intensive care unit. She stood in front of it and pressed the switch, which was actually only for the staff, and went inside. She knew the staff and greeted everyone with a happy "Hi." She made her way to the doctor's room. Sora usually sat there when she was nowhere to be found on the ward, as she is now. Without knocking, Miki opened the door and saw her friend in front of a patient file.As quietly as possible, she crept behind her. Miki knew that Sora hadn't noticed her yet. She quietly put the two cups of coffee to one side on the small shelf and moved her face forwards completely unobtrusively so that it suddenly appeared next to Sora's. With a look whose eyes had slit and a devious smile, as well as a skillfully played deep and threatening voice, she began: "Operation succeeded, patient dead." ... "AH!" Suddenly it came from Sora together with a little hop to the other side. "Oh my god ... Miki ?!" A little cold shiver spread across her back. "You scared me!" she said relieved that it was her friend and watched her laughing softly into her fist. "Well, when you're so absorbed in your paperwork, you need something to distract yourself. And not that kind of distraction from before." Miki winked at her friend. Sora knew her too well to not know what that meant. Miki knew that and then turned around to take the two cups of coffee and hand a Sora. "Thank you." She replied with a smile. "How's it going, Miki?" she wanted to know afterwards. "Oh, as good as always." Grinned at her friend. "I've got three new orders again. I'll take a look at them later. And how are you doing? Are your patients still all alive?" asked Miki and took a sip of the coffee. She noticed that it was still pretty hot. "Yes, so far. But my work isn't over yet ... Do you want to go to the cafeteria for a moment? I wanted to take my break soon anyway." Miki had just sat down on the desk and now jumped down again. "Yes, of course. Let's go." Miki answered and so Sora informed her colleagues that she was taking a lunch break and drove back to the ground floor with Miki.
As they both turned a corner, however, they missed something. They were so absorbed in their conversations that they didn't notice someone walking inconspicuously behind them and a big grin spread across their face. Around the next corner, he had gone quietly among the crowd again, but kept an eye on the two of them.
A few streets away, two young women met inconspicuously on the street and then walked side by side. "Did you find her?" a black-haired woman asked her colleague. "Yes, I have." Grinned at the black-haired woman. Then there was a third woman. "Huhuuu I have it ..." she called to both of them before she was interrupted. Because she had received a slight headbutt for her loud call. "How often: You shouldn't be so loud!" the smaller of the two grumbled at the newcomer. "Oh come on. Not that mean now." mowed this lovingly back. "Anyway. We now know where they all live and work.“Began the black-haired woman.” Now phase 2 begins in our plan. "She finished her sentence." Good, then let's go to the others. "Said the smallest of the three. Then they went back to give the others the information.
When they arrived at their destination, four men were already waiting for them. “We're back there again,” said one of the three and happily walked into the room. "Did you find her?" it came from a man with short hair. "Sure, we have." Replied the black-haired woman. Suddenly the gate opened and the last one entered. "Then we can devote ourselves to the second part." He grinned and went to the others.
During all of this, the five friends went about their daily activities. Miki spent the whole afternoon with Sorana in the hospital. Now and then there was an emergency when Sora had to leave for a moment. But mostly these did not last too long. There were no operations that afternoon and so Sora went home with Miki that evening. She accompanied Miki to her office, as her car was there, and after saying goodbye made her way home. She was on standby tonight as there was a shortage of staff. On her way home she went to Cho's boutique and wanted to wait for her to go home with her. "Hey Cho! How was your day?" Sora asked her friend when she came into the shop. The 'Closed' sign was already hanging outside, but the door was still open. So Sora could go into business unhindered. "Yes, luckily everything went well today! Look, these are my long-awaited fabrics." She grinned at Sora and held truly magical fabrics under her nose. "Wow, they look really ... expensive." said Sora and examined her. "They are too. Valuable clothes will be made out of them in the next few days." Cho said proudly. "How was your day?" she asked her friend as she put the fabrics away again. "Quite okay. Miki was visiting me. But nothing else really." Gave her the brown-haired answer. "Did you have any strange patients today too?" Cho asked her friend afterwards. "What do you mean? Well, I don't think there was anything exciting today ..." Sora said while she was thinking about today whether she had missed anything. "Well, there was such a young, strange woman with me today. With aviator goggles like that ... she looked at every item of clothing and was totally thrilled. But she didn't buy any. But the strangest thing was that she knew my name well known, but I'm sure I've never seen her before. "Cho said lost in thought. "Really? Well, I didn't have anything like that today. Who knows, maybe she knows your name because you're pretty famous by now. It wouldn't be a wonder ..." Sora tried to explain to her friend. "Yes, you are probably right ..." so Cho ended her little story and didn't really think about it again. Then she went home with Sorana.
Since Miki had already gone home, Arisu and Shiori had to use public transport this time. However, since most of the people were finishing their work, the subway was completely overcrowded. But Arisu took it anyway. It was the easiest way to get home. However, all the people and the crowded subways weren't easy to bear. On the other hand, it was easier for Shiori. She preferred to take the more inconvenient route by bus. This took a little longer, but very few people drive it. So she saved the crowd and had a relaxed drive home.
For all five, this was actually a normal working day. They did things that they usually did. Followed what was customary for them. But a few kilometers away from the apartments of the five, there were people, or as they might call it, beings, who had other plans for the women. Only nobody knew. They were watched for most of the day. Starting with getting up to going to work. These 'beings' now knew where the five live and work and that they knew each other. For Sorana, Cho, Miki, Shiori and Arisu it was normal that they knew each other. There was no particular reason for them. They were friends and had been for a long time. But for those who observed them today, who have been chasing them for a long time, it is clear that this is not just a coincidence that these five women of all people are friends.
