The crystal kingdom! Crystal City here we come

When the two of them arrived on the other side, a huge dark forest stretched in front of them. Exiem looked annoyed.

"Where have we landed now? That can't possibly be the kingdom.", He thought annoyed.

"Great forest everywhere and nothing of a civilization to be seen", he stated and yawned.

"I'll float up and get an overview," he suggested and slowly floated up.

Not far away, by a large crystal clear lake, sat a girl in the shade of a tree. She stretched and felt the warmth of the sun shining through the canopy of leaves.
Exiem glowed reddish as if he were surrounded by an aura, he flew through the air and saw from above the woman who was resting by the lake.

"Who is that?" He asked himself.

Exiem floated further down to the woman and hid in the dress of the tree. She felt the newcomer immediately.

"Come out I know you're there! What do you want?" She said sharply.

Exiem came out of the tree dress and looked curiously at the girl.

"What are you doing here all by yourself in the forest?" He said and slowly slides to the ground.

She looked at the stranger in front of her.

"I'm just watching, but what are you doing here? It's dangerous in this forest.", She said and grinned an indefinable grin.

Exiem started to grin too.

"I don't think there's anything more dangerous here than me," he said confidently.

"Don't be so cheeky, you show-off. There are far more dangerous creatures here in this forest than you can imagine and they don't hesitate to attack any people when they enter their forest.", She said seriously.

A rustling could be heard in the bushes.

"Here you come at last, where have you been all this time?" He said.

Another white hedgehog emerged from the bush.

"Man Exiem what is the riot? I was stopped by such a monster."

The hedgehog had a lot of blood on his hands, he went to the lake without even taking the girl and washes the blood off his hands.
She looked curiously and skeptically at the newcomer.

"So he wasn't alone.", She thought, "What are you doing here in the Mystic Forrest? Didn't you see the sign? If you had stayed on the path, that wouldn't have happened.", She said sharply and pointed to the White hedgehog wounds.

"What does she mean, Exiem?"

Exiem stayed silent and just smiled to himself, the white hedgehog showed the girl his hands, he himself was unharmed.

"I'm not the one who pulled the short straw. Fortunately, my jacket was spared from these mangy beasts.", He said and straightened his jacket.

She was amazed when she saw that.

"Respect. So you fought one of the chaos creatures and won, not everyone can do that, but now back to the topic, what are you doing here?""Me and my buddy wanted to take a look at the city and take care of private affairs. But as you have probably already noticed, we must have lost our way.", He replied in a friendly manner.

"What's your name anyway, the lady who cares about us?" Said his buddy.

"My name is Chaos the Hedgehog," she said seriously.

"If that's not even a nice name for a woman, then I don't know either."

The white hedgehog touches its head.

"Exiem! That's one of her nicknames. Do you really think someone would call their child Chaos? Ok except you but you've always been different."

"Can you show us the way to Crystal City, Chaos?"

"You are a lightning marker as I see. Well, just follow me. I will bring you safely to the city."

Chaos set the two hedgehogs on the path that will take them straight to Crystal City.

"If we don't hurry, it will soon be dark and Exiem is afraid in the dark.", He said with a smile.

"Shut up Ryko! But I'm already looking forward to nice company. I could use it. Chaos, you can come with me afterwards, I'll never get bored.", Exiem said and looked at Chaos dreamily.

"Exiem as if a woman were interested in you. Just because you have put on your best jacket doesn't automatically follow you, you Casanova."

Both looked each other in the eye and started laughing.
Chaos did not respond to Exiem's ​​allusion, however.

"Where are you from?" Asked Chaos.

"We come from Live City, which is far to the north. It's pretty cool and frosty.", Exiem replied.

"Yes and how. Where exactly are you from Chaos?" Ryko asked.

She turned to the two of them and walked backwards.

"Live City? Never heard of it before. I'm from Crystal City, I was born there."

"Then we are really glad that we met you. Otherwise we would have been wandering around in the forest forever because a certain Mr. Caius lost the card.", Ryko said, looking a little annoyed at Exiem.

"It's enough now. We should have a good chat, boy," he said, scratched.

Their eyes met and you could see in their eyes how the fire slowly started.

"What's the matter with them?" Thought Chaos.

She started laughing when she saw the expression on both of the hedgehogs' faces.

"Ha, Ha. You look kind of silly looking like that. Ha, Ha.", She said laughing.

"Do you see what you've done?" Exiem said aloud.

"Now blame me or what? You're just embarrassing," he snapped back.

"Chaos is that the city you told us about?", Exiem asked, pointing to the city that you could already see from the path.

She turned back to face the city looming over the trees in the distance."Yes, this is Crystal City. Is this your first time in our city?" She replies.

"We have never been to this area before.", Ryko said and began to smile, "So you two let's see what you can do with Chaos.

Exiem and Ryko began to run forward.

"Come on!" Ryko called to Chaos.

"You want a run? Well, I'll be there.", She said with a grin.

Chaos stretched, took up the starting position, and followed them at a slow pace. After walking for a while, Exiem looked behind her.

"Take a look at that, we took them down.", He said when he noticed this.

"She was just behind us.", Ryko answered.

"It doesn't matter, we're right at the gate. I can see it."

"You are right. It would only have been a burden for our mission and we do not need witnesses."

When she got to the gate, Chaos was already there, waiting.

"Where have you been for so long? I thought you got lost on the way here.", She said with a grin and crossed her arms.

"How now? How could you overtake us?", He asked her, "That is not right. How did she do it?", He thought.

Exiem stood next to his astonished friend, unimpressed.

"Well then we want to go to the city! And thank you for showing us the way Chaos. I think we can handle it on our own now."

"I was happy to do that. Don't get lost in the city, it's huge. Maybe we'll see you, see ya.", She said and ran through the gate first.

"We're finally rid of her.", Exiem said when she was no longer to be seen.

"First you want to have fun with her and now you're glad you got rid of her?"

Exiem didn't answer, went off and left Ryko in front of the gate.

"That was clear again from you Exiem."

Ryko went through the gate, but Exiem went too far. Ryko lost him in the crowd.

"Shit, where did he go? Oh no matter, I already know where I can find him. Now I have to find a place to rest first. I'm really tired and my eyes are about to close.", He groaned.

Chaos went through the streets and the crowd until they arrived in the city center, where there was a huge fountain. She sat at the edge of the well and looked up at the sky.

"Who those guys were? Something's wrong with them. Hopefully they won't get the idea to steal our treasure.", She thought to herself.

Ryko enters the restaurant and orders a room.

"I can finally rest," he said happily.

When suddenly his iPhone sounds, he answered it.

"What is it? -I understand. We'll take care of it. Good, Bye. -I'll lie on my ear first, Exiem will do it alone. The first heads will be rolling in an hour at the latest," he said lying down and closed his eyes .

At the same time, at the other end of town in front of the castle walls, Exiem tried to reach Ryko on the I-phone."Shit. When is he on the phone with him for so long? -Now it's enough for me, I drag him personally, even if it has to be all the way back."

Exiem was on his way back into town when he passed a fountain where Chaos had made itself comfortable.

"I know her, isn't that the one from just now? What is she watching?" He asked himself.

Chaos looked up to the sky and watched the stars emerge in the gentle evening.

"It's about time I went home. I'm sure you are worried about me.", She said to herself and got up.

Chaos turned towards the lock and walked towards it. There was a small house in front of the castle. She stopped in front of it, some flowers had been planted in the front yard, she picked a rose and smelled it. She continued to walk towards the main gate of the castle.
Exiem followed chaos unobtrusively.

"What does she want there? And why did she go to the castle of all places, I knew straight away that she is not normal like the others.", He thought.

Chaos headed for the main gate. When the guards saw them, they stood up straight.

"A wonderful good evening Lady Chaos, I hope you had a nice day," said one of the guards.

She turned to the guard.

"Yes, thank you sir. Are my parents here yet?" She replies politely.

"Of course. They are already waiting for you in the dining room, together with the king and queen.", He said and opened the gate.

She thanked her and went through.

"How do I get in there without causing a bloodbath? Without Ryko and weapons that can be a problem. I only have my psychocienetic powers and that's not enough to storm the castle.", He said.

He noticed a white hedgehog making his way to the castle. He wore a fine white robe and looked like Ryko.

"What kind of guy is that? You'd think that's Ryko.", He thought.

The white hedgehog stepped up to the gate guards.
