CARINA: "How did you know we were coming?"

ALICE: "Yes, we didn't announce each other to you."

JESSICA: "I just knew it. Anyway, you look terrible. What happened?"

SUSI: "That is absolutely terrible. We are haunted. Everywhere we appear the strangest things happen."

CARINA: "Yes. A steel beam almost fell on our heads."

ALICE: "Don't remind me of that. At least that's not all, the other day a car went off the road and almost got us."

SUSI: "Or the lights suddenly all turn green."

CARINA: "But ghost appears to all of us when we try to sleep.On the first night my shelf almost killed me. "

ALICE: "Yes, he always drops objects that can hurt us."

SUSI: "Like that dart back then. I think it was something of a harbinger or something."

JESSICA: "So, so. So it's after us, yeah? We won't be safe here. Only more accidents will happen here until one of us dies. One after the other until the last one of us has been hit."
ALICE: What do you think we should do?

JESSICA: "Flee. We have to get out of the city. There are too many accident objects here."

CARINA: "And where should we go? In the woods or what?" She almost shouted.

JESSICA: "You say it.", She answered with an uncanny smile.

SUSI: "You are not serious now."

JESSICA: "If you want to die early, that's fine. But I'll leave town. If you want to come with me, go home and pack your things. We'll be leaving shortly."

ALICE: "I don't want to die yet. I'll come with you."

SUSI: "Me too."

CARINA: "If Alice comes with you, I'll come with you too. But where should we go?"

JESSICA: "I know a place where we are safe. There is a forest hut and we will definitely have a lot of fun there.", She grinned.

CARINA: "You really can't compare it with fun. You really don't work properly anymore."

SUSI: "We should definitely hurry before anything else happens."

ALICE: "You're right. We have to be back here as soon as possible to be able to leave."

They said goodbye faster than they came. I couldn't suppress my grin anymore.

JESSICA: "I'm already having fun with you guys. I'm curious how you will do in the great outdoors."

Now the time had come, what they had experienced in the city was just the beginning, now the whole thing was only going to get really serious.
They all met again at my place, together we went to the main station to get from there to Runkel. Alice had decided that we would buy a group ticket because it was cheaper than if everyone bought a ticket. We waited for the train and got on before it set off. We'd been taking the train for a while until someone started to get on my nerves.

CARINA: "Are we there yet?"

JESSICA: "No."

CARINA: "Really?"

JESSICA: "NO!" She screamed annoyed.

It was quiet for a moment until the train stopped.

CARINA: "Are we there yet?"

JESSICA: "Yes."

CARINA: "Yeah, sure, you're just kidding me."

As the train continued, Carina noticed that her friends had already alighted.

CARINA: "Hey! You can't do that to me!"

Carina ran after us puffing after asking the driver to stop again.CARINA: "You're so nasty," she grumbled.

ALICE: "If you hadn't asked us after every stop whether we're already there, it wouldn't have happened in the first place."

CARINA: "Oh yeah?"

ALICE: "YES!" She said loudly, waving her arms around.

SUSI: "Great. Now they are arguing too."

JESSICA: "Just ignore it. They are calming down again.", She said without paying attention to the other two.

SUSI: "And where do we have to go now?"

I just pointed in the direction of the bridge, where we continued on our way. We walked through the city together until the edge of a dark forest was finally visible.
Alice and Carina stopped arguing abruptly after doing this all the way.

CARINA: "And there ... shall we go in now?" She asked incredulously.

ALICE: "I think so," she replied.

JESSICA: "There is a little hut in this forest where we can hide."

CARINA: "Not with me. I'm not going in there, there are sure to be huge creatures."

ALICE: "Yeah, they're just as big as your brain."

CARINA: "Really now?" She said with wide eyes.

ALICE: "They can't be that big."

CARINA: "Phew. Calm down ... Wait a minute. Hey."

We all started laughing, so the mood was restored. Our path led into the dark forest, I showed them the way, since I had walked it more than once as a small child. After about half an hour we finally arrived at the forest hut.

JESSICA: "This will be our haven, for now," she grinned.
