Jessica's death

Back at the hut we discussed how to get out of the forest. It was now really clear to us what danger we had put ourselves through the back of our glasses.

ALICE: "Great Susi. Really great!", She said sarcastically and slightly helpless.

JESSICA: "I told you not to take something like that lightly."

CARINA: "As if you knew everything better," she said angrily.

JESSICA: "At least I know better than you do." I countered.

CARINA: "If you knew everything better, we wouldn't be in this situation.", She said and Sauer left the room.

The three of us stayed in the lounge while Carina paced up and down in the next room and was annoyed.

CARINA: "How can that stupid cow stay so calm in such a shitty situation?"

She tried hard to find a way out, noticing a mirror hanging on the wall. This looked even older than the hut itself.

CARINA: "I haven't noticed it yet."

Curious, she went to the mirror and looked inside. She was shocked to see the shadow behind her. She jerked around, but there was nothing to be seen there. It occurred to her that she could send the spirit they had conjured back to the spirit world. Carina rummaged through her friends' suitcases to look for the homemade witch board and found what she was looking for at Alice.
She found candles at Jessica's and lit them. She spread the witch board on the floor, directly under the mirror. For a brief moment she concentrated.

CARINA: "I call you, you who plunged us into misery. I command you to return to the hereafter."

At that moment the mirror fell from the wall to the floor, but it didn't break. A person became visible in the mirror, it was the woman from the clearing.

WOMAN: "It's too late. There is no escape," she sneered and grinned.

Meanwhile, we were still arguing in the next room. Carina had holed up without a sound. I suddenly got a severe headache, which Alice noticed.

ALICE: "What is it? Aren't you okay?"

JESSICA: "It's just a headache, could you get the headache pills out of my suitcase?"

Alice nodded in agreement and went into the room where Carina was. When she opened the door she saw her friend kneeling on the floor in front of a mirror.

ALICE: "What are you doing there?"

CARINA: "At least I'm trying to do something, unlike you."

ALICE: "Have you tried to summon this ghost again?"

CARINA: "Yes I have."

ALICE: "Are you stupid? Do you want to give us some more shit?"

She went up to Carina, tore the paper witch's board from her and tore it up, then threw it in the trash can.

CARINA: "What's that supposed to mean? That was our only way to send the ghost back."ALICE: "You're only giving us more trouble."

Susi and I noticed that they were arguing and curiously went to the two of them.

SUSI: "What's going on here?"

ALICE: "Carina tried to summon the ghost again."

SUSI: "What? You didn't really do that, did you?"

CARINA: "At least I don't sit idly like you do!" She said angrily.

JESSICA: "You already know that it is already too late for the mind to return. The mind has full control over what is happening, it can do what it wants."

ALICE: "Oh God! Oh God! Oh God! What do we do now?", She waved her arms around.

SUSI: "We're going to DIE !!!" she shouted.

JESSICA: "Keep calm!" She said seriously.

CARINA: "You see what I mean? She's completely crazy!", She stated.

JESSICA: "No, I'm crazy. But you probably already knew that. We would have had to send the ghost back in the basement back then, but someone wanted to break off the incantation. We don't want to look at anyone," she said sarcastically and looked at her two friends at.

SUSI: "I'm sorry," she said, embarrassed.

CARINA: "Oh, suddenly it's our fault or what?"

ALICE: "Of course! You really wanted to break off."

CARINA: "Of course we wanted to break off! You were also scared."

ALICE: "Yes, of course I was scared, but I would have continued and at least we should have sent the ghost back. You were more scared than me or who was the one who hit me when the candle fell."

JESSICA: "Right, I totally forgot that." (And forgot to mention ^. ^;)

SUSI: "None of us had suspected that it would come to this and that we are now stuck in this forest. - WE WILL DIE !!!!"

ALICE: "SUSI! Nobody is going to die here. We'll only get into slaps, but we won't die.", She said through clenched teeth.

JESSICA: "Hm. I heard that the food is supposed to be pretty good there.", She remarked with a grin and went back into the common room.

It was dark, the sun should have risen by now, but not the slightest ray of sunshine had appeared for hours. The forest was quiet except for the usual noises. We tried to sleep by all means, but after the last incident with this mysterious woman in this clearing, which I had been told in detail, no one could even turn a blind eye, of course with one exception ... I was able to sleep calmly and huddled in my sleeping bag .
A loud crack made my friends startled, I also heard it, woke up and lay still.

SUSI: "What was that?" She whispered into the room.

ALICE: "I think someone is there," she stated quietly.

CARINA: "I don't think so. Look at them. How can they sleep in such a delicate situation?"she whispers angrily.

SUSI: "We should see what that was.", She suggested.

ALICE: "Y-that was probably just a little innocent rabbit that got lost in the night," she said hopefully.

CARINA: "Of course. Rabbits are nocturnal too. I'm also in favor of us looking."

SUSI: "Shouldn't we wake Jessica?"

ALICE: "I wouldn't do that for you."

SUSI: "Why?"

ALICE: "Well. I know her well enough to say that if you don't wake her about anything, she'll freak out."

CARINA: "As if that crack wasn't anything."

ALICE: "That's right, but if it was really just a small animal and you woke it up, it'll give us hell."

CARINA: "As if she could prevail against us," she said, amused.

SUSI: "Are we going to have a look now or not?" She asked carefully around the group.

They decided to let me sleep and went outside, armed only with a flashlight. The forest looked scary in the dark and nocturnal animals were everywhere, startled by the light of the flashlight and ran away.
They searched the area closely together, but saw nothing suspicious. One bush after the other rustled briefly, the friends were frightened. A crow sat on a branch, watched everything and let out a scream.

ALICE: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!" she screamed and that scream echoed through the dark forest.

CARINA: "Are you stupid? Don't scare me like that."

SUSI: "We should go back to the hut. Jessica doesn't know where we are and is probably already worried about us.", She suggested.

CARINA: "She probably didn't even notice that we were gone.", She remarked.

They ran all the way back to the forest hut, when they got there they sat down on their sleeping bags and talked.

CARINA: "I said she didn't even notice."

SUSI: "Yes you are right.", She said with a smile.

Alice looked at the sleeping woman and noticed that something was wrong, her friends noticed it.

SUSI: "Alice? Is everything okay?"

ALICE: "I have a strange feeling, something is wrong here," she said anxiously.

CARINA: "What's wrong here? Everything's fine. We're just in a goddamned hut in a goddamned forest !!!", she said, getting louder and louder.

Alice went to Jessica's sleeping bag, but it wasn't in it as expected, it was gone.

ALICE: "She's not even there," she said, amazed.

Suddenly someone started laughing, but nothing was to be seen anywhere. The three friends stood closer together and looked around.

VOICE: "Nobody will leave this forest alive. Ha, ha, ha."

SUSI: "Mom."

CARINA: "Oh… disk paste."

ALICE: "What did you do with our friend?"she asked bravely.

A person stepped out of the shadows, it was the woman from the clearing.

WOMAN: "I did what is now in bloom with her," she said and pointed to the girls.

The friends looked startled, ran as fast as they could to the door and out into the dark forest.

WOMAN: "Tze. As if you could escape death.", She said, amused, and licked her lips.

She stepped slowly out of the hut, the wind rose and a crow flew out of the forest, then landed on her shoulder. Death held out his hand to the bird and it then climbed.

TOD: "Fly and watch her. I will join you shortly.", She said and the bird rose into the air with a crow.

The moon was bright and illuminated everything, it was a warm night that hadn't disappeared for days, but nobody had noticed anything. A growl made death sit up and take notice, it was the wolf that the three friends had already met.

WOLF: "Shall I tear her up?" He asked.

TOD: "No. I will do it personally.", She replied and went towards the forest.

Carina, Alice and Susi ran deeper into the forest until they finally reached the clearing.

SUSI: "We landed here again."

CARINA: "As if we hadn't noticed," she snapped.

ALICE: "What do we do now? We can't get out of the forest and Jessica kidnapped her too."

CARINA: "You heard that she killed her."

ALICE: "No! She didn't say in a word that she killed her. The first time it was like that when we thought."

The clearing began to glow, there were many fireflies sitting on the grass, which flew into the air and everything shone again as it did when they entered this clearing.

ALICE: "It's just like the first time we were here," she remarked.

SUSI: "It's kind of scary."

CARINA: "We have bigger problems than these fireflies," she said irritably.

VOICE: "Right, death is after you after all," said a voice behind her.

CARINA: "Exactly death is after us and ..."

She broke off in mid-sentence and slowly turned around. Her missing friend was standing there.

ALICE: "Jessica!" She exclaimed happily.
