SUSI: "And that's how we get out of the forest?", She asked happily.

The three friends turned in the direction Jessica had pointed. They started off, but Alice stopped, Carina and Susi also stopped, they looked at Alice.

CARINA: "What's Alice again?"

ALICE: "Don't you want to come with me?" She asked Jessica.

CARINA: "Yes, you could help us for a change."

JESSICA: "I would if I could. For now I can't leave this place, I have to stay here."

CARINA: "Stupid excuse. Come on, let's go.", She said to the two of them.

They walked a little through the forest. Alice looked back one more time to where her friend had stood, but she was gone again.
For some time they already ran through the forest until they finally found this cave, where this "evil spirit" is supposed to be up to mischief.

SUSI: "Do you think that was a good idea?"

CARINA: "You want to go home too, don't you?" She asked irritably.

Susi just nodded in agreement.

ALICE: "Let's go in then," she said in a shaky voice.

Carina fished a flashlight from the bag she had taken with her, switched it on and illuminated part of the cave.
Carefully they went deeper into the cave. At one point or another they could be heard screaming when a bat flew overhead. The deeper they went into the cave, the more afraid they would see this spirit. Another swarm of bats was startled by the light and they flew outside, frightened the girls and Carina dropped the flashlight.

ALICE: "Great, now we have to walk around in the dark. Well done, Carina."

CARINA: "What can I do about it now? The bats scared me."

Suzy noticed that there was a faint light in one of the corridors.SUSI: "People take a look at that."

The other two also noticed the light and slowly walked towards it. The light source kept moving as if to lead the friends somewhere. Of course it led her outside.

CARINA: "Great, now we have come back outside. When we come we have to go back to the cave."

ALICE: "No, wait. We're out again, but we're not where we came in.", She remarked.

SUSI: "How do you want to know?" She asked.

ALICE: "Have a look around. We were in a forest, but now we are in a kind of hidden valley."

SUSI: "You are right. We are surrounded by rocks and there is no ceiling up there."

CARINA: "That means we are on the right track," she said happily.

A firefly whizzed through the friends, after a few meters it flew in a confused place and seemed to be waiting for them.

ALICE: "It looks like the firefly brought us here."

CARINA: "You're not serious now," she said incredulously.

SUSI: "I do believe that it was the source of light and guided us. God is gracious to us."

CARINA: "Great, a praying mantis," she said and clapped her forehead.

ALICE: "Let's go! Always chasing sparkles."

CARINA: "Sparkle?"

ALICE: "Sure. After all, our helper needs a name," she said happily.

They walked slowly and safely after the firefly until they came to a stop at a huge tree. The tree was huge and thick, there was something sacred about it. Lots of fireflies buzzed around it, and at the bottom there was a cave. At the entrance to the cave there was a staircase that led down.
The whole tree was lit not only from the outside but also from the inside. It went very deep into the earth, deeper and deeper they went down the stairs until they finally reached the end. They couldn't believe their eyes what they saw there. Her friend Jessica was hanging lifeless at the entrance to another cave that was blocked by a rock wall. Each limb was stretched out from the body, like a star.

ALICE: "Oh my god," she managed to stop.

SUSI: "How can that be?" She asked incredulously.

CARINA: "Jessica! Stop these games, we've finally had enough of your stupid games.", She said angrily.

But Jessica didn't move. Carina went straight up to her and grabbed her neck, but she let go of her again.

CARINA: "She. She is dead.", She said without breathing after she could not feel a pulse
