"Yami?", Kija asked quietly and looked into his room. She got no answer, which didn't surprise her. She looked around, but he didn't seem to be here. She crept quietly out into the garden, where she saw him sitting by the pond. He stared sadly into the water and did not notice her. Kija started to grin nastily and gave him a slight push, which is why he fell into the water. His eyes widened in surprise and then there was a loud splash. Kija giggled and jumped after.
When he appeared, Yami saw no one and he just swore. Suddenly he heard a giggle behind him and when he turned around he looked into azure eyes that were laughing at him. "Kija ?!" he managed and immediately turned away sadly. But then she hugged him from behind and mumbled softly: "You got it wrong yesterday ... I was just so angry and didn't know what to answer you ..." "Do you know now?" It came quietly from him. "Yes", she smiled slightly and pressed herself against him: "I love you too, little one" "I am not little one," he said indignantly and turned around. "Yes you are," she giggled and splashed water on his face. "Hey!" He called and suddenly picked her up. She shouted: "Yami no", but he had already dropped her in the deeper water. She appeared again with a snort and looked for Yami, who had disappeared. "Yami?", She asked uncertainly and turned once around her own axis, but she couldn't see him. 'Where is he? she wondered as he appeared next to her and startled her. "Yami!" She shouted sourly and he just laughed.
In the evening the two sat together at the table and ate. Everyone else just looked at her in amazement. Nobody moved or spoke a word. Until the pharaoh finally began: “How should one understand that now?” Yami looked at his father questioningly and Aknamkanon sighed softly: “This morning you avoided each other and now ...?" "... We are together ", Yami grinned cheekily and Kija couldn't help but grin. The faces of the others were just too delicious. All of a sudden Akari and Mana jumped up and hugged Kija, who fell backwards. So the three of them lay on the floor and Mana and Akari kept shouting how happy they were for them. "It's good," Kija managed to say, because she couldn't breathe anymore. The two girls got down from her and apologized and Kija sat up again. Yami took her in his arms and began to grin slightly at his father. So two more years passed.
Akari had been with Yugi for a year now and Kija had only just turned 16. Yami was already 18. The two were lying on the bed together when suddenly a servant stepped in and informed the two with a sad expression that the Pharaoh had been found dead. Immediately they jumped up and followed the servant who led them to the Pharaoh's chamber. Tears ran down Kija's face when she saw her dead father and Yami immediately hugged her. He tried to calm her down while fighting back the tears himself. His mother had died of an illness a year ago, and now his father too. "The guards saw Bakura," said the servant and Kija grumbled softly. While she was with Yugi, she had heard many stories about Bakura.
Due to the death of his father, Yami had to become pharaoh himself and he wanted to take Kija as his wife. The ceremony was over quickly and Kija just stood next to Yami and stared down gloomily at the people. He took her hand and squeezed it, which made her smile slightly. "We will do it," he whispered to her and Kija nodded slightly. 'If you only knew,' she thought sadly. Because there was one thing that nobody knew.
