“Dan?” Asks Danny quietly, “will you tell me another story before I have to sleep?” Daniel smiles and nods. "Then I'll tell you the story of the nameless Pharaoh" "Oh yes," she beams again.
Danny wakes up again late at night because she hears loud voices. She crawls out of bed and quietly opens her door. Then she tabs off to her father's study. "You don't give a damn about Danny!" Hissed Daniel and just shook his head. "How do you care how I treat my daughter?" It comes back in the same tone. "Dad, she's my sister ... it's my business ... but answer me a question: Do you regret that Danny is there?" Her father hesitates for a while. "You are really the last ... I know your answer ... it's 'yes' isn't it? You hate it! But I don't understand why" Danny looks sadly at the floor. 'Papa hates me', thinks the little one and sadly goes back to her room. She begins to cry, but nobody notices it.
A year goes by. Danny is walking around town with her brother licking an ice cream.She never told her brother that she overheard this. Dan takes her by the hand and says softly: "Come on ... let's go to the market a little" Danny giggles and nods. Daniel is about to cross the street when Danny stops. "Dan my shoe is on," she grumbles and puts her ice cream in his hand. Then she sits down on the floor and tries to close it. Daniel is so mean during that time and runs across the street with her ice cream. "Dan ... my ice cream!" Shouts Danny and looks at him indignantly as he also eats something from this one. Daniel laughs, but this quickly fades away. Because he heard it. The honking of the car. He turns around and only sees the car shoot at him. Danny doesn't even notice. Only when her brother screams does she look up. Immediately tears welled up in her eyes. "Dan", she whispers and starts walking. Some passers-by start screaming when they see Daniel lying on the street.
Danny kneels next to him and calls his name. The little one does not yet understand that he has not been able to hear her for a long time.
Danny is sitting on the street crying because the only person who really took care of her is now dead. She stumbles home with tears in her eyes. Shortly afterwards her father is also in the hallway, who wanted to ask Daniel why they are so late. But when he only sees Danny, he is taken aback. "Where's Daniel?" He asks coldly and Danny sobs. "Dan was hit by a car" Heracles' eyes widen when he hears this. "Go to your room," he says coldly and Danny would have loved to cry out loud. Why did he hate her so much? The next day Robert is with her and tries to talk to her. But he cannot get through to her. She sits on her bed all day, doesn't eat or drink, and doesn't speak any more.
It goes on like this for two days until suddenly her father is standing in her room and looks at her a little more friendly. He asks her if she would like to go for a walk with him and Danny agrees. She is a little happier that her father is finally paying attention to her. A year goes by. Danny has closed himself off very much and is still unhappy inside. Dan's death had affected her more than anyone else. Then they fly to Japan, where Danny meets Yugi for the first time. She hides her grief from him as well, just as it does from everyone else. She gets along well with her father. Still...
She celebrates her eighth birthday alone because her father is not in the mood. Inside it is seething, but outside it shows no emotion. 'So he still hates me,' she thinks and goes to her room. Kari is on vacation but has already called. Danny's thoughts are confirmed when she overhears a conversation between her grandpa and her father.
"Why don't you celebrate her birthday?" Asks Robert quietly and looks blankly at his son-in-law. "That's none of your business," Heracles snapped back. "You hate her ... for no reason ... she is your daughter Herakles ... she would have needed your help back then ... you should have talked to her and not only had to stick to her" "I didn't stick to her "Heracles growls and jumps up."But you have ... you still hate her ... but I'll tell you one thing: if that doesn't change with her, I'll take her ..." With these words Robert leaves the room, but Heracles seemed to be Threat not to disturb. This behavior also shows her how much he hates her.
Danny locks himself in her room and only leaves if necessary for a whole week. She doesn't want to go to school because she hates everyone except Kari and Timmy. It doesn't bother anyone that she doesn't go to school. Her father doesn't care what Danny does either. Every day she becomes more and more listless and sad and she literally sinks into her memories of Daniel day after day. "He was the only one who understood me ... to whom I was important," she thinks and looks out the window. She sits on the window sill and watches the rain, which doesn't often happen in the desert. Often times she is so depressed that she thinks about ending her life just like that. But she doesn't have the heart to leave the only people who mean something to her like Daniel had done with her back then. So another year moves into the country and Danny is now 9. She doesn't let anyone tell her anything and has literally slipped. Because of her problems at home, she has started to scratch herself (am I not in a good mood today? XD). Nobody notices, nobody cares. She comes home late, rarely goes to school and when she does, her grades are in the basement. Nobody notices, nobody cares. Nobody ... except two who are very worried about their best friend.
But at some point it happens that Danny wants to end her life on a bridge (?) (3). "Danny, don't do it," begs Kari, who doesn't dare to get closer to her friend. "Why then? I don't give a shit to anyone anyway!" She shouts and really lets go of the railing at any moment. "Shit Danny, come down there!" Calls Timmy and looks at her sadly. "No," says the little one stubbornly, not noticing her father approaching her. "Danny," he whispers and Danny freezes. "Get out of here!" She hisses and looks at him with hatred. "Danny ... The girl already sees her end when she realizes that she doesn't even want to die. She closes her eyes and tears them open when she suddenly floats. She looks down at herself and sees a black dress. "I'm flying?" She asks quietly when she discovers the wings. Then she notices who she has just turned into.
'I am Orion? 'she asks herself and jumps back onto the bridge. "Wow ... I didn't even know that you could fly", Timmy is amazed and Danny says quietly: "I've been able to do it for 5 seconds" Timmy and Kari grin.
Since that day, Danny's relationship with her father has been getting better and better, as she realizes that he is serious and only six months later she becomes queen. But every week she goes to her brother's grave once and tells him what has happened that week. She has caught herself again. Her grades are back at 1 and she no longer scratches herself.

Yami was speechless. Kari looked sadly at the table. "Since that day she has been the way you know her ..."
