Preparations ala Vally

We ran and ran until we finally got to a guesthouse near the beach. When we entered the lobby, we went straight to the receptionist. She was very friendly and after a short chat gave us the room keys.
The rooms were simply furnished and you could see the sea perfectly through the large window.
In the meantime we had got our things off board and were now packing them neatly in the closet.
Since we had very little to do, we decided to chat a little while we gradually walked to the beach.
Lo and behold, we were the first two at the meeting point.

I was very happy because today I would finally see my friends again.
But at the moment I was totally bored, so I suggested that Jule go looking for some wood for the campfire tonight and that I go to the dealer for sake. She agreed and I slowly made my way.
The streets were very crowded today and I struggled a little to get ahead.
I hummed a little to myself, but then I bumped into someone.
"Ouch! Oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention where I was going ..." Stupidly, I had landed on my bottom and it hurt a little now because the hot pan didn't protect much.
The man with whom I had bumped together kindly held out his hand, which I also gratefully accepted and he also apologized. This man had red hair and 3 scratches that ran diagonally across his eye. It looked like he had lost his arm because one side of his sleeve was hanging limply.
"Well then I have to go on, by the way, I'm Shanks" now it clicked, I had just bumped into a pirate emperor. How embarrassing!!!!
"Vally, pleasant" Then he left the field.
It didn't take long before I was at a small, greasy shop
arrived. The owner came already wobbly and he looked disgusting:
Black hair that was gelled strictly at the back, fat, about 1m 60 tall and then this crazy grin.
I would have loved to give the guy a punch and say, "Do they come from pigs?" but then I refrained from doing that. To attract attention now would not be a good thing because the war was only recently over and people were still a little irritated.
After a little bargaining, I cornered the man and got 8,000 barrels for 15,000 berries.
So now I could finally make my way back to the beach and see how many people were there. Jule should definitely be finished with her task soon. "I'm curious what the evening will bring with it" I thought to myself as I walked the forest path that led to the meeting point. Why I hadn't gone long before?No idea. I guess I was so stupid again and didn't notice it. * hehe *
Now I was finally there and saw that almost everyone was there by now, and the campfire was already burning happily.
