"Danna, un?" - "Hm .." - "Can I sleep with you, un?"
A terrible storm was raging outside and the small log cabin in which the two Akatsukis had found shelter did not look very stable. With every strong breeze the windows rattled threateningly and the door slammed back into the frame in time with the small gusts. The floorboards creaked softly under Deidara's petite body as he scurried over to the older man. Five meters separated the two beds and yet Deidara almost had to scream for Sasori to understand him at all.

"Does that have to be? You have a bed, stay there.", Sasori's voice rang out and Deidara sighed. "Danna, you know that I am afraid of thunderstorms, un .." His voice grew lower and lower towards the end. Now the redhead was the one who sighed. "Deidara, we have discussed this topic so often now .." - "But I know anyway, un .." This time the chaot did not tolerate any contradiction. With quick movements he pulled open the covers and disappeared under it. "Deidara! You are crushing me!" - "Sorry, Danna, un!" Deidara almost had to snuggle up to the older man's body, otherwise he would fall off.

The redhead had quite "dirty" thoughts at these touches. He caught himself thinking about putting an arm around the younger boy. / These thoughts .. where do they come from so suddenly? / Deidara noticed the tension and, after a moment's thought, asked hesitantly. "Danna, what's going on, un?" he whispered softly. Sasori shivered when he felt the hot breath on his body. It felt incredibly good to have the chaotic next to him and to feel how much he needed him. He felt the need to get closer to Deidara, yes, to attack him! "Deidara .." he said when he still hadn't overcome this need. It rose immeasurably and then increased again when Deidara snuggled up against him when a really violent thunder rang out.

"Yes, Danna, un?" / His voice, so naive .. I can't help it .. / With trembling hands he took Deidara's face and breathed "I'm sorry .." before kissing him. Deidara widened her eyes in shock and looked at the redhead in the dark. But he had closed his eyes and asked for more. When Deidara felt his tongue licking his lips, he tore himself away. With this force he also fell out of bed. "Deidara!" He called after him, but the blond-haired man had just left the hut. / I'm such an idiot! /

He hurried through the branches, cutting himself on various weeds here and there. Bloody drops and a mess were all it left behind. His eyes were red and small, pearly tears ran softly and gently down his cheeks. His hair was scattered in the wind and the rain soaked him. / Why did he do that? / These and other questions haunted his head and left him with no peace of mind. He didn't know where he was going or where he was going to end up. But at the moment he didn't care. He just wanted to get away. Away from him ..

Still in the hut, Sasori was frozen to stone. / What have I done..?! / But another thunder tore him out of his rigidity and he found himself thinking more clearly again. / I have to find Deidara .. Who knows where he is now. And that with this thunderstorm .. / He quickly left the house and went in search of the blond-haired man. But all he found was a piece of fabric from the coat. It got stuck in a branch. But the tracks, whether they were footprints or blood, had all been washed away with the rain. / How am I supposed to find him if I don't know where he's gone? / Sasori desperately persisted for a few minutes in a position where he could see pretty much the whole area, or whatever was visible at all.

Deidara tripped over an exposed root and fell. Mud splashed around him and his blonde hair had given way to a rich brown. Dirt had gone down his throat when he screamed. It scratched his throat, making him cough, and the taste made him vomit. His knees were bruised and bleeding, let alone his arms, which he held protectively in front of his face. He crawled on quietly. His limbs ached and he felt that his legs were numb from the cold. He shivered and shivered for what it took. With his reddened and teary eyes he saw almost nothing and his teeth chattered. / Damn it ... / was the only thought that crossed his mind.

The rain grew heavier and there was more thunder and lightning. The drops that fell from the sky were like iron kunais and to feel them on the skin was anything but pleasant. They burned and stabbed their way into Deidara's body and, plagued by pain, he couldn't help but scream. His blood ran from the wounds and mixed with the dirt. The rain pelted the wounds and the blond-haired man had to gasp and scream again and again. His torn coat offered him no protection, so that he got more and more caught on various undergrowths. His upper body was adorned with a number of cuts, scratches and all of them were bleeding.

Another didn't look any better there either. Sasori searched the whole field for the younger one, but did not find him. His coat was tattered and his hair was dripping. He skilfully jumped from tree to tree, but then let it stay because he almost slipped once. So he looked now on the solid ground but still had to be very careful, because undergrowth and roots grew everywhere and the rain had turned the ground into a single battlefield./ I have to find him .. I want to apologize. Was it that bad? / He wallowed in thought of the kiss for a moment, then gathered himself back and continued his search.

> Danna? Can I sleep with you, un? <

The former SunaNin was slowly getting tired. He had been looking for his partner for hours but couldn't find him. The first time he was desperate and didn't know what to do. Burning hot tears seemed to run down his cheeks in contrast to the cold rain. / The little naive chaot is somewhere now .. maybe scared, injured or dead .. and that's only because of me .. / He clenched one hand into a fist and hit the nearest tree. Bark peeled off the trunk and clung to his hand. This had reddened slightly from the blow and in some places the small scratches started to bleed. Again and again he hit and kicked the tree until his anger subsided. With a cursory glance at his hands, which were now slit and scarlet, he crouched and began to think for the first time that night.

> Danna? What's the matter, un? <

Deidara sat in a hollow. Above him was a fallen tree that acted as protection from the rain. With every thunder he flinched and every lightning that flashed the forest scared him more. He closed his eyes and whimpered softly. / That's absurd, un. You fight with others, you're a dreaded NukeNin and you're afraid of a thunderstorm, un? /, he thought to himself and for a brief moment he had to laugh.

But this turned into a quiet whimper again when the next thunder sounded.
And that's exactly what he's been in before. A shiver ran over him as the past caught up with him, because this event had always run like a red thread through his life. Except that he was older now and no longer went to an academy with lots of small and mean children. It had actually been very popular up to the fateful camp every class did before the exam.

~ Flashback Deidara's childhood ~

All of his academy mates stood around him and laughed at him. The little blond boy had thrown a blanket over his head and was whimpering softly. The academy class had gone to the mountains for a camp and then it had started to thunderstorm. Tears dripped onto the mattress he was sitting on. You pointed your finger at him. Then everyone started singing in the choir:

"Deidara is a scared rabbit!
Fears thunder and lightning.
Deidara the little scaredy!
You're kidding! "

Deidara had then jumped up and told them his opinion in tears. But before he had finished speaking, another thunder sounded and drowned out his last words. He had fallen back on the mattress in shock and pulled the covers on. The children had laughed at him and went on singing ..~ Flashback End ~

/ What is that? / Sasori found a strip of fabric from an Akatsuki cloak. / Deidara! / He ran after the strip of cloth and searched the forest as thoroughly as possible. Then he overlooked an exposed root and fell down and at that moment he discovered Deidara under the fallen tree. He was lying with his back to him with both legs drawn up. Sasori got up quickly and stumbled to the tree trunk. He peeked underneath and saw Deidara passed out.

> Yes, Danna, un? <

With a small smile that stole on the redhead's lips, he gently lifted the younger man and carried him through the forest. / Let's see if I can find my way back to the hut .. / Deidara had snuggled up against the sudden source of heat and seemed to have calmed down even when he was unconscious. His eyes had stopped twitching and his features relaxed. Sasori smiled slightly and tried to remember the way back, which didn't quite work out because Deidara was all his attention. He gently stroked the blond's hair and touched his cheek tenderly.

/ Oh Deidara .. if you only knew how I feel about you .. / Slowly Sasori recognized the outline of the small, rustic hut and opened the door. With the aid of the first aid kit, he tended Deidara's wounds, who now seemed to be asleep. Then he cleaned his wounds and laid Deidara on the bed and covered him. Since he had pushed the two beds together with a loud roar, he could lie down, careful not to wake Deidara. Even so, he kept a distance so that Deidara would not be frightened when he woke up. But he smiled as Deidara snuggled up against him in her sleep.

Deidara slowly opened her eyes. The thunderstorm had moved on and now the sun shone into the hut, as if it wanted to banish every inch of depression that had reigned in it with her warmth. /
