Das Ende meiner Ewigkeit

The struggle - Suki's view of things

A never-before-known cold passed through Suki and made her freeze, she could barely breathe, but could not take her eyes off what was happening below either. For what felt like an eternity, she and Hiruku sat on a well camouflaged ledge and watched how Sasuke defeated Danzo, how this girl had appeared and wanted to kill him and how Kakashi and a blond boy had joined them. Worst of all, it wasn't the actions that were going on down there or the fact that Madara had been there for quite some time. No. The worst was Sasuke. This cold that surrounded him, this darkness that wrapped around him and the words of hate that woven him like a spider's web. Everything felt so wrong, he seemed completely trapped in a world of bitterness. Suki had already been aware that he would no longer be the old Sasuke, for that he had already caused too much suffering to others. But to see with your own eyes how the man who once meant everything has developed into such a monster inflicted deep wounds on her soul. "Why ...", her voice was a hot whisper, "... why are you doing that? Why do you say such absurd things ?!"
She wanted to shout it out, to shout her feelings out into the world, but she had learned to keep emotions to herself. In such a cruel world there was no place for emotion, at least that was what her experience had taught her. So she stayed silently crouching next to Hiruku, following the action.
Nonetheless, she couldn't stop her thoughts. Images swirled through her head of happier childhood days, all the big words where did they go? Desperately she compared the picture from then with the picture from today, like in a game she was trying to find the mistakes with the difference that this one seemed to be one huge mistake ... "Suki", she winced. Hiruku stared at her out of her brown wolf eyes "People can't turn back time" "I know, but ..." "You are not a real person, what applies to you does not automatically apply to them. Your job is to get them on the right track to lead, to turn back time after her death. Not in the here and now "Making sense of Hiruku's words, she turned back to what was happening. Sasuke was now standing with Madara and as far as she could correctly see Zetsu on her left, Kakashi together with Karin, who was injured in the fight, and the girl on her right. On the water, the blond boy ran towards Sasuke. Shit, she couldn't talk to Sasuke like that, Madara was way too dangerous, she had a guess about him, but he would probably kill her in spite of such circumstances. So Suki focused on the blond boy, he caught her attention as he walked towards the enemy with no sign of fear. He said something about "only I can defeat Sasuke", someone had mentioned his name earlier, Naruto.Suddenly it dawned on her, no matter in which village she had been on Sasuke's trail, it was always said that there was someone who believes in the traitor and who has no resentment towards him. That guy, Naruto, it has to be him. That was the opportunity to talk to him. Another look down told her that Sasuke, Zetsu and Madara had disappeared. To be on the safe side, she concentrated on noticing every tiny bit of chakra, but they really had withdrawn. Suki decided to use the favor and made his way downstairs. How would Kakashi react after all this time?

From a flaming inferno, Suki and Hiruku emerged, who looked directly into the incredulous and frightened faces of Kakashi and the others. Yes, it certainly had advantages to be able to move freely in space and time. But also some disadvantages as one could see again and again in such reactions. "Who are you? An enemy!" The girl's words pattered on her. A kunai thrown by Naruto just missed her head. Hiruku let out a loud growl from "Shhh", her friend tried to calm her down. Her gaze wandered to Kakashi, who was carrying the injured Karin on his back.
His eyes showed that he was trying to remember something. You could literally watch how each of his brain convolutions worked. Then finally. "Suki," said his lips. "Sorry if I scared you," said Suki with a smile.
"You know her?" "Yes, Naruto, I know her, but I thought, I mean how is that possible, it said you are" "Dead?", Suki objected. Kakashi just nodded "Assuming I were dead, I would then stand here", a slight undertone of arrogance and mockery was in her voice. "No, you're absolutely right," was Kakashi's reply, who apparently still didn't really understand what had just happened. "I just want to talk to you." "How do we know that we can trust you ?!", the girl cut her off. "You can't be sure, but you can trust Kakashi," Suki replied honestly. All eyes focused on Kakashi "I think we can trust her" "Why are you so sure about that", Naruto wanted to know. "Because she's being hunted by Madara and because she's standing here" "Like me ..." even before the girl had even spoken her question, Suki flashed her sharinghan. The amazement was written on everyone's face except Kakashi. A confident smile spread across Suki's lips.
