David sighed. Once again he was preparing for an autopsy as a forensic doctor. The person: a young woman, with reddish hair and light skin. It was now his job to find out the cause of death. Another sigh left his lips.
He has not been able to sleep properly for several days. His wife Andrea was worried, he knew that. Yet he did not calm her down, but left her in the dark.
Slowly he raised the shroud and looked at the woman. "It looks like she was poisoned," he muttered to his assistant. He just nodded and left the room.
David sat down on the chair next to the corpse and rubbed his eyes. It was a bit dim in the room, which only made him more tired. Suddenly he heard a voice. "David" He looked up immediately. Not to be seen. "David" The voice grew louder. "David" Now he saw her. "Alexandra?"
The young woman standing in front of him was Alexandra, his lover. She was wrapped in a white shroud, shimmered slightly transparent, and glared at him. "Why didn't you get in touch with me?" She asked her first question. "You wanted to leave your wife for me! Why, David, didn't you call me?" David swallowed. Alexandra kept walking around the autopsy table and continued to stare at him. Then came a second voice: "David" Again David spun around and stared in the direction from which the voice was coming. “David!” He just swallowed. “Andrea!” His wife slowly came up to him. Like Alexandra, she was wrapped in a white shroud and shimmered. "Why David? Why don't you take care of us anymore? I raised your child! Lucy hardly sees you anymore! You only live for your work!" David pressed his lips together hard. Not a word even wanted to leave his mouth. "David, I know about your lover" David breathed in sharply.
But none of that was a comparison to what was coming now. "PAPIIII" His daughter's bright voice came from behind him. "PAPIIIII! WHEN WILL YOU COME HOME?" David turned around slowly and looked at Lucy, who looked at him sadly. She too wore a shroud and shimmered slightly. In addition, she carried a huge teddy bear in her arms, which was almost bigger than herself.
"PAPIIII! WHEN WILL YOU COME AND PLAY WITH ME AGAIN?" David swallowed again. Lucy stared up at him sadly, now that she was standing in front of him. But then she turned away and disappeared, together with Alexandra and Andrea. David shook his head.
But suddenly he felt movement next to him and the corpse sat up and looked into his face. "Hello David," said the young woman in a broken voice.

David sat up with a jerk. Lucy sat next to him and shouted: "Daddy, you're finally awake!" David looked to the side and discovered that he was lying in his bed, together with Andrea, who was now also awake.
David decided to leave the matter with Alexandra alone, he wouldn't call her anymore.So it happened that he was sitting in the park with Andrea and Lucy in the afternoon and didn't notice Alexandra standing nearby and talking on the phone. Only when it was denser did he hear her voice, but he didn’t show anything.
"Yes .. and David still hasn't answered! I wonder what he's got ... I mean, he wanted to leave his wife for me!" Alexandra let her gaze wander through the park and discovered David. "Wait a minute, I don't think so! There he is sitting with his family! I'll call you again!" With that she hung up and ran to David angrily. "Tell me, can you explain to me what this is about? You promised to report!" David swallowed and looked briefly at his wife, who looked coolly at Alexandra.
“You're coming with me now!” David got up and was suddenly grabbed by her arm. David struggled only briefly, because he was suddenly grabbed by the other arm of Andrea. "No he won't!" Alexandra just looked coolly at Andrea and ....
