Beginning

Prologue - beginning

It started at my new school on the first day. I was certainly ignored. Others feared me and acted nicely, why? My father was an emperor. So it was no wonder that they were either afraid and stayed away from me or tried to sneak in. But there were also a few who tried to drive me away from school, and not with friendly words.
I couldn't take it anymore.
One day I once again sought refuge on the school roof. I always had to climb up, but slowly I got used to it.
I had knelt down and laid my head on my arms, but suddenly there was a little girl in front of me, she had short black-brown hair and her big purple eyes looked at me expectantly. Those eyes looked familiar to me, but I didn't know where from. I was wondering how she got up here, after all you had to climb quite a bit until you got to the top and she was a bit small for that.
"What do you want?" I asked brusquely.
She saw me and then came up to me and reached out her hand to me, "Hey !!" I called and was about to strike her hand away when I noticed how she was just stroking my head, I looked at her in astonishment: "What was that supposed to mean?" I asked her.
"It is better?" she asked in her childlike voice.
“How?” I didn't understand anything anymore.
"Well, you did cry, so you must have hurt yourself somewhere, my brother always did that to me when I cried. So everything is fine again?" she looked at me worried.
Did she want to kid me? First of all, I hadn't cried, and secondly, I was either ignored or you were gross, slimy nice.
But your kindness was real.
With a thump, she landed next to me and began to say: "I'm new here, but somehow I don't really like anyone here. And then I saw you and you look really nice, by the way, I'm Shizuka Kyoshi."
"Hey, what are you doing with her ?!" a boy's voice called out I recognized one of my tormentors.
Before I could react, they pulled her to her feet and pushed her towards the end of the roof.
"Do you want to make friends with her? Already forget she is the Emperor's daughter. And what do you mean, you don't like anyone here? Are we not good enough for you? Well ?!" he came closer and closer to her and she kept walking towards the abyss, I quickly got up and ran to her and wanted to help.
She hadn't done anything.
Just because she spoke to me ... just because she wanted to be friends with me. Then several things happened at the same time, the girl stumbled, fell back, pushed the others aside, which was partly not necessary because they backed away from me, I missed her hand, but at the same time jumped after her, and then we both fell. ..
The last thing I saw were the girl's eyes, then I remembered how I knew those eyes, my father had the same.It was like looking into his ... then it got dark ...
