Chapter 2

Mitanie12:

After just one blow, the monster was destroyed. I ran over to her quickly and looked to see if she was wounded. "everything OK?" I asked her. She nodded, "Except for my ankle, I must have cracked it or something." I helped her stand up and supported her as she stood, which was difficult because I was much smaller than her. Then I thanked the old man. "It's okay." He replied, "Your skills seem to be very strong. Tell me your names." He demanded. "We both don't know it anymore." I answer him. This didn't seem to surprise him. Comes with. I'll take you to a doctor, maybe she can do something about it. "

Little-hikari:

We walked through the forest for a while until we reached a huge stone wall. It was so high that I almost craned my neck looking up. Directly in front of us, in the wall, was a large wooden gate.
The old grandpa looked around confused. It seemed like he was looking for something, but whatever it was, it wasn't there. "That slacker! And something like that calls himself gatekeeper. He can experience something afterwards!" said the grandpa to himself.
He took a few steps closer to the gate, put his hand under it, and lifted it easily. I felt my jaw dropping. I never expected the old man to be so strong. "Follow me." he instructed me and the little one. Without a word we slipped under the gate, which promptly landed on the ground again with a loud bang. I looked around briefly at the gate before hobbling after the others. No matter where we were now, we definitely couldn't escape. We went through a city that, to me, was built like a labyrinth. Accordingly, after a short time I refrained from my plan to remember the way. We met a couple of people who politely looked at the old man and at me and the little girl curiously. They all carried Shihakushō and a sword. We entered a building that I could quickly identify as a hospital based on the furnishings. The old man asked for a Unohana and we were instructed to wait in one of the hospital rooms. Shortly afterwards a woman appeared with her long black hair braided in a braid. She greeted the old man and let him present his request to her. She nodded slowly and then turned to us.
"So you don't know who you are anymore?" she asked and smiled pleasantly.
"No." I answered while the little one just shook her head.
"Then I want to see if I can help you, but first I'll take care of your ankle." she put her hand on my ankle, a pale green light came on and the pain was gone. "Wow." I said appreciatively and tried to make a round of the room.
"And now for your memory." she said and before I could protest her hand was already on my head. Some images flashed through my head. Much too fast to be able to see anything exactly. One scene, however, shaped itself out of the hopeless confusion. I couldn't see the person who was standing with their backs to me and offering their hand to me, but they seemed familiar to me.
"* Hurry up Hotaru. *" She called to me. In the next instant it was all over.

Mitanie12:

After the doctor put her hand on the girl's head, her face took on a surprising expression.
Then she took her hand back down.
And asked if the girl could remember her name again, she nodded and just said: "Hotaru."
Then the doctor went to me and put her hand on my head, as she did with Hotaru.
A vortex of images raced through my head.
Then an image manifested itself in my mind.
A woman, her face looked very similar to mine, the only difference was that she had brown eyes.
Then her lips moved and she spoke in her bright voice: "My little Shizuka." I suddenly opened my eyes, I hadn't even noticed that I had closed them.
"And your name?" she asked. Hotaru also looked at me expectantly.
"Shizuka ..." I answered them.
Then the old man cleared his throat. "Can you find out something about their abilities too, Unohana-san?" He asked.
Hotaru and I looked at each other. Skills?
But then I remembered the fight with the hollow again, and the sudden darkness and the light shield.
Was that what we were?
"Already done." answered Unohana-san.
She looked at both of us.
"And?"
asked the old man.
We didn't look any less interested.
She took a deep breath and then said, "Light and darkness. Shizuka, light, Hotaru darkness. You know what that means, don't you, Kuchiki Ginrei-san?"
"Yes." he answered.
"Uh, hello, can someone tell us what's going on?" Hotaru asked cheekily. "Later, now you'll come to my house first.
You can stay there for a while. "
So it happened.
But instead of standing in front of a house, we were standing in front of a huge villa.
"Didn't you say something from home?" Hotaru asked sarcastically.
Kuchiki-san ignored her question and went inside, from inside we heard someone curse.
"Damn it !! Yoruichi, give this back to me !!" a boy's voice swore.
A young tanned woman with yellow eyes and purple hair standing up. She bowed to Kuchiki-san looking at both of us. When she pressed something into my hand, she said: "Watch out for a moment, bye!" And ran away. What she had pressed into my hand was a headband. Then a boy came running up, he had long dark gray hair and was quite out of breath. When he saw the old man. He stopped immediately and bowed like the woman before and greeted the old man. I was still a little taken aback with the headband in my hand. When we passed him into the house, I quickly gave it to him and then went on. We were both told that this was his grandson and that he lived here with him. He showed us our rooms and said that he would explain some things to us tomorrow. Otherwise we could still rest today.

Little-Hikari:

After the sliding door was closed, I looked around my room a little. It was a very small room. The walls were decorated with two landscape paintings. Under one of the pictures, the wall opposite from the sliding door, was a small wardrobe. Next to the closet was a window and under this there was a tatami mat for the night's rest. In front of the mat was a small wooden table with a flower vase with lilies on it. So my room was decorated with grave flowers ... nice. I sat down on the tatami mat and covered myself. From where I slept I could see out of the window into the darkness. The moon hung like a big round disk in the firmament and watched lonely over the sleeping world. As I looked at the moon, I pondered who I remembered that person was. I would have liked Unohana-san to have shown me more of my past, but I was glad to have my name back at least once. And while I was brooding, I slowly fell asleep. The next morning I was awakened roughly. The grandson of the old man, I think his name was Byakuya, shook my shoulder.
"Get up, we'll have breakfast." he announced annoyed. Apparently he was forced to wake me up ... and yesterday the one about the headband. Is the boy actually just bullied?
I straightened up and followed him across the building into the dining room. Shizuka and Grandpa were already sitting at the table. Me and little Byakuya crouched next to it. For a while we just sat in silence and ate until Shizuka propped himself up on the table and slipped away. Her eating bowl was thrown away, flew across the table and finally landed in Byakuya's face.
The bowl slipped down slowly, caught briefly on his nose and finally landed in his lap. More scraps of food followed the bowl, revealing a very tense face. A vein pulsed in his temple and I knew it would have been better to keep quiet, but I just couldn't help laughing.
Laughing loudly, I knocked on the table and gestured wildly at his face. A flush of anger rose from Byakuya's face. Angry, he took his bowl and slapped it in Shizuka's face. Shizuka, for her part, of course did not let this shame sit on her and countered with a targeted throw of boiled squid. He screamed out in pain over the boiled squid in his face, but immediately recovered to throw the next best thing he could get hold of at her. This went on for quite a while, until he committed the stupidity of taking the food away from his grandfather and throwing it at Shizuka.

I had probably moved away from the table before, which it turned out to be a good idea. The old man reprimanded the two children with a loud roar. Breakfast was over and Grandpa instructed us again to follow to a place unknown to us.
A good half an hour later we reached a gate to another property, we made our way to a large room. There were 11 people in the room. 2 women and 9 men. The two women stood closest to the door. One was Unohana-san, the other was Yoruichi. Unohana-san smiled her friendly calm smile, while Yoruichi excitedly told her about how she had stolen Byakuya’s headband yesterday.
Behind them, a few of the men stood in a small group, talking. One of them, with his back to me, had a hat on and was wearing a pink women's kimono with flowers on it over his Shihakushō ...
ok, if he's not gay then I'll kiss the old man!
The man across from him had long white hair that he had gathered in a braid. To his left was a young man with short silver hair and to his right was a man with an Afro ...
Exotic...
A little apart from them stood a young man with straw-blonde, medium-length hair, leaning against the wall and looking thoughtfully at his feet. On the other side of the room, three men stood together and said nothing. Two of them were blond, one with long curly hair and the other with long straight hair. The last of them had black short hair with high bangs. Across from me, at the other end of the room, was a very old man. He had leaned on his cane and closed his eyes. So he remained, motionless. Almost as if he was waiting for something. The first thing we noticed was the young man with the straw-blonde hair. He looked up from his feet and looked at us curiously. There was something pleasantly familiar in his olive-green eyes that made me feel a little more comfortable among all the strangers.
