Chapter 6

The next day dawned. As always, Kakashi tore me out of my dreams: "Get up, sleepyhead! I hope you are fit for sports." "What?" I slowly got out of bed and staggered to the bathroom. I quickly jumped in the shower to wake up. The water was freezing, so I gave a short scream. Kakashi always took cold showers, and then when I got into the shower I was shocked at first until the water finally warmed up. After I got ready, Kakashi called me from downstairs: "Are you coming?" "I'll be with you in a moment!" I called back. Kakashi met me downstairs with the door open and the car key in hand. "Am I that late?" I asked. With quick steps we went to the car and got in. “A little.” “Ok, when is punctuality so important to you?” Kakashi drove off. "Not at all, but otherwise I'll lose my job," he replied. "Oh, it's worth coming on time for that, of course." "If you have to work, you will understand.", Replied Kakashi, who probably didn't like that I made fun of him. I was relieved when we got to school because I couldn't stand the silence any longer. Kakashi put some money in my hand, as always, and left. I, on the other hand, tried to find my way to the gym. When I got changed, I checked out the other girls' clothes. They all had sports pants that reached below the knee and weird gloves or bandages on their hands. The same thing Kakashi tried to sell me yesterday. Everyone was wearing it, not just the girls.After everyone had gathered in the hall, I noticed that there were older students there. That's right, Neji said that too. Gai switched on again: "Well, we do the usual warm-up now: 20 laps around the block, then you gather here again." "What kind of teacher is that?"
