Chapter 10
The door flew open. “Tsunade!” The woman jumped up from her chair. "Sasuke what are you ..." "Kakashi ... he needs help ..." Sasuke swallowed. He was getting pretty out of breath now. “What is it?” Sasuke put me down. I swayed because I could barely stand with my feet. Sasuke supported me. "Kakashi is standing at the edge of the forest in front of the cave. He's fighting Akatsuki." "What?" Sasuke caught me and picked me up again. “He needs reinforcements right now!” Tsunade nodded vigorously. “I see. Shizune!” A short-haired woman came into the office. “Tsunade?” “Send a troop to the end of the forest immediately, the Akatsuki are there.” The brown-haired woman nodded and left the room. "Isn't that all going faster? He's fighting against 10 people! Alone!" I pleaded. “We'll do it as fast as we can.” The woman saw my wrists. “What happened?” Sasuke stepped closer to the woman. This examined my hands and feet very carefully. "I was kidnapped by them, Kakashi and Sasuke freed me. The rope with which I was tied, however, was too tight ..." "Kidnapped ?! Why didn't you inform me?", The woman asked Sasuke angrily. "There was no more time for that," he defended himself. "And you just went off on your own ?! That will have consequences!" The woman shook with anger. "We only saved you! You also know exactly what Pain does when he gets his hands on Caro!" Protested Sasuke. The woman did not calm down, but agreed. "Take her to the hospital. You should take a closer look at it." Sasuke nodded and left the room with me. "Who is that?" I asked him. "Tsunade. She's the Hokage." Sasuke started walking. "The what?" "Hokage. Kind of a mayor," he answered me. "Ah ha ..." Sasuke kicked the door in the hospital with his foot, because he didn't have a free hand. There we met the short-haired woman again: "Sasuke?" "Caro is injured." He nodded at my hands. The woman nodded. "Then come with me." The woman led the way. Sasuke followed her. "What about my brother?" I blurted out when we reached a treatment room. Sasuke put me down on the table. “Your brother?” The woman looked at me questioningly. “Kakashi Hatake.” The brunette didn't look very happy when I mentioned the name. She swallowed. "He uh ... he's in intensive care." The world blurred before my eyes. Tears formed and rolled down my cheeks, and I fell off the table. Suddenly everything went black for me.
When I woke up again, Sasuke was sitting by my bed. I looked at my hands, both of which were covered with a bandage. “What happened?” My head hurt even worse than in the cave. "You passed out.", Sasuke answered me. The world turned and I fell back on my pillow."How's Kakashi doing?" I asked worried. Sasuke looked away. “Not so good ...” “Will he be back?” I tried to lift my head. In vain. "Definitely." Sasuke smiled encouragingly at me. There was a knock on the door. "Yeah?" I croaked. Naruto entered the room. "How are you?" He asked. "Not that great ..." Sasuke got up. “I'd rather go then.” “Are you coming back tomorrow?” He nodded and left the room. Naruto took his place. “The others are coming too.” He smiled. “Fine.” I smiled back in agony. "Is what?" Naruto always seemed to notice ... "Kakashi is in the intensive care unit ..." "What? Will he get better? What happened anyway?" Naruto asked excitedly. "I hope so ... Well, a group called Akatsuki kidnapped me. Kakashi and Sasuke saved me. Nothing happened to Sasuke because he took me away, but Kakashi ... he's alone fought her just so nothing would happen to us and now ... now he might die! "I started to cry again. “It's all my fault!” Naruto hugged me comfortingly and rubbed my back. “Nothing is your fault.” I sniffed briefly. "Don't tell yourself that. It's the least you can do for it, okay?" Naruto gave me a handkerchief. I nodded in a daze. "But what if he doesn't wake up ...?" I didn't really want to think about that. "He'll wake up!" Naruto said confidently. “I promise!” I dried my face. Of course, Naruto had no way of knowing if Kakashi would wake up, but it still made me feel good. Suddenly there was a knock. Naruto and I turned our heads towards the door. A white dog entered. "... well who are you?" The dog came closer and gave a short bark. “Akamaru.” Naruto apparently knew the little guy. Although, small you couldn't say ... "Hey, guys!" Kiba came into the room. Akamaru turned to face him, tail wagging. Kiba patted him once and walked over to me. "How are you?" "Not good," I replied depressed. "What was going on?", Kiba asked me. "The Akatsuki kidnapped me ..." "What? How can you stay so relaxed?" Kiba got terribly upset and Akamaru pulled his tail. "I was saved!", I reassured Kiba. "Yeah, but it was the Akatsuki!" He interjected. "I really don't want to talk about it anymore," I replied. Kiba remained silent. My eyes fell on the window. I noticed that it was already light. "How long did I sleep?" "Two days as far as I know," Naruto replied, shrugging. "So long ?! Oh god ..." I rubbed my eyes. “Hello.” Neji entered the room. "Hi." The three of us greeted him. Akamaru barked gently. Neji was holding a large bouquet of flowers. “Is that for me?” “Sure.” “Oh, thank you, that's really nice.” Neji put the bouquet in the flower vase on my dessert. Just like the others, he sat on the edge of the bed.If someone else came, it would be extremely tight. "Are you feeling better?" Asked Neji. "No. Have you ever been here? I mean when I was sleeping." The boys looked at me in amazement. "Yes, yesterday briefly. Why?" Said Naruto. "Just because ... it doesn't matter. It's nice to see you guys." I smiled at the three of them. They smiled back, but you could tell that they were a little suspicious. The mood was gloomy, nobody said anything. "Hey, you know if ..." Something slipped along the window, I was quite sure. “Yes?” Naruto looked at me questioningly. "Uh ..." I slowly averted my gaze from the window. "It's okay ... I have to go out for a moment." I said hesitantly and got up. When I walked, my feet felt like they were made of lead. They got heavier with every step. I wouldn't be able to endure this for long. I snuck out of the hospital and walked outside to my room. Nobody stood there. Was it just imagining it after all? I looked around in all directions. There! Again I saw a black figure whose robe was stained with red. Now it was clear there was someone from Akatsuki. I stepped back a little, then turned and ran into Tsunade. "Huh?" "I ... I was just about to go back to my room ..." I apologized. There was uncertainty in my words. The woman looked angrily: "I want to hope so too. What are you doing out here?" "Get some fresh air?" It sounded more like a question than an answer. The woman looked me up and down, then accompanied me back to my room. She waited until I was back in my bed and ordered the three boys to be careful not to leave. At least while they were there. "I'll leave you alone then.", Tsunade said goodbye. "Where have you been?", Neji asked after making sure that Tsunade is really gone. "Get some fresh air," I replied, this time much more assertive. The three raised their eyebrows. "It's not that important either." I said, waving him away. "I don't mean to be rude, but I need a little rest and I'm really tired ..." "It's okay. We'll be gone immediately." Kiba winked at me. I smiled and hugged everyone goodbye once. Then they disappeared. My head lost itself on the pillow, I stared at the ceiling. I slowly closed my eyes. Everything was black, I fell asleep.
When I regained consciousness, I was sitting in a dark room. It was black everywhere, not a bright spot. Nowhere. "Hello? Is anyone there?" I called out into space. Nobody answered me. I tried to run forward but couldn't. My gaze wandered down on me. I sat on a chair, handcuffed. Nobody was with me, I was alone. Alone, the word circled through my head. Again I screamed: "Is there nobody there ?! Hello!" Laugh. "H-hello ...?" I whispered. A cool laugh that was very familiar to me."Well, where do you want to go?" Asked the black-haired one. "Get me off, you ass!" I yelled at him. "That wasn't very nice ..." He lifted my chin and came very close to my face. He licked his upper lip with his tongue. I jerked my face to one side. “Let go of me!” It was only a hint to hear. He grinned menacingly and turned my face back to him. Now he came very close to my mouth with his own. His lips touched mine.
“No!” Bathed in sweat, I woke up from my bed. I breathed quickly and shallowly. I looked around the room anxiously. It was light outside. My breathing slowly calmed down. Someone entered the room. It was Sasuke. “I heard you scream, what happened?” He looked around the room. "Nothing, I just had a nightmare," I explained to him. "What did you dream?" Sasuke looked me over. My eyes were blank, sweat stood on my forehead, no wonder he wondered that. “Anyway, it was just a dream.” A pained smile lay on my lips. “Does it have something to do with Itachi?” Sasuke gave me a long look. Immediately I looked at the floor. "N-no." I answered quietly but firmly. "It doesn't matter. What are you doing here?" "I do." He raised an eyebrow expectantly. "You don't care at all!" I shouted. My throat burned terribly because I already had a sore throat. Now they just got worse and I managed just a quiet croak: "So leave me alone with that." "I can't care, because -..." "Because it's about your brother!" I before him. "No, because ... because I don't care about you." Sasuke looked out the window. "You mean we're friends?" I asked. "Uh yes ... friends ..." he replied slowly. Somehow he looked slightly depressed. A short time later he had composed himself: "Well, you don't have to tell me anything, but I think it would be better if you tell someone about it. As someone once said to me," you can't always get everything inside yourself eat.
