Chapter: Welcome to ... Konoha? WTF ?!

ˆOh man ... does my head hurt ... where am I anyway? ˆ Tormented, I opened my eyes. I was illuminated by bright white lamps, and they didn't make it easy for me to really keep my eyes open. From that bright light and the fact that I was lying on a bed, I concluded that I must be in a hospital. I mean, it even smelled awful of medicine and other stuff. How a hospital smells like that. Well, I had never been in one before, but that didn't matter at the moment. I had an immense headache and couldn't really think clearly. I guess I fell on a stone. Or someone dumped me with one. Anyway, the pain clearly felt like stone.
I heard footsteps. I looked anxiously at the door, let's see who came in there now. I could tell from the number of steps that there had to be at least two people. One of them opened the door. It was a ... well ... a slightly older woman with blonde hair and brown eyes. I couldn't tell her exact age, she probably had some operations or the like behind her. After the blonde, a slightly younger girl entered the room. She had short, pink hair, turquoise-green eyes and was around 16. I sat up while the two of them came over to me.
"Well, you are finally awake," the blonde woman said immediately. "Looks like it," I muttered. The headache made it difficult for me to speak properly. "Where am I anyway?" I asked a little louder. "And who are you?" "You are in the Konohagakure hospital. I am the current Hokage Tsunade and this is Sakura." The woman pointed to the girl next to her. “Nice to meet you.” I just managed to say “Hmm”, I wasn't really up for company at the moment. But they wouldn’t leave so quickly. So I kept asking stuff that I had to know. "What happened?" "We could ask you that as well. You were just lying around in the forest. If Naruto hadn't found you and brought you here, you would surely have died. Your head was bleeding a lot, from your other wounds apart from that, "explained Tsunade. Only now did I notice the bandages on my body. "Can you remember how that happened?" I was asked by Sakura. I just shook my head. The more I tried to remember something, the blacker it all became. I just let it stay, after all, I didn't want to pass out. When I had just woken up.
"You probably suffer from mild amnesia. Your head may have hit something." Great, I had already realized that. Man, what kind of Hokage was she? “Can you at least tell us your name?” I rummaged through my memories for a moment, and sure enough, I found a name. I wasn't sure if he really belonged to me, but from now on he certainly was. "Ran, just ran," I said. They didn't have to know my last name. Who cares? "Well, at least we now know your name. We can talk about everything else later. Sakura will take care of you, I still have work to do." After this brief announcement, Tsunade had already disappeared through the door. "Do we want to go out to eat? You must be hungry," said Sakura. Yes, I was actually hungry. And how. "Sure. Do you have something for me to wear?" She pointed to a chair next to the bed with a small pile of clothes on it. I got up, got dressed, and then followed Sakura outside.
A short time later we were already walking through the streets of Konoha. "Where are we going anyway?" I asked Sakura. She shrugged her shoulders. "No idea. What are you up to?" Before I could answer, a blond boy came running up. "Sakura-chan! I've been looking for you everywhere!", He shouted and ran towards Sakura. "Naruto, what do you want now?" She asked annoyed. The blonde tripped over a stone and landed on his face. ˆFull idiot ... He got up again and answered Sakura’s question as he walked the last few meters. "Well, I was wondering if you might ... well ... maybe you want to have a noodle soup with me?" Sakura thought for a moment. Then she opened her mouth to say something, but she never got around to it.
A group of four came up to us. "Hello Naruto, hello Sakura," came a blonde girl. "Hi Ino. Where are you going?" Sakura then asked. "We are just about to go to Yakiniku Q. Sensei Asuma invites us," explained a somewhat round boy and pointed to the man behind them. "Do you want to come with me?" He asked. Sakura and Naruto looked at each other. Then Naruto replied with a shrug: "Sure, why not?" "And the little one there?", Ino came again. Now all eyes were on me. I snorted up my bangs. "It's nice that you noticed me, too," I replied annoyed. If everyone in Konoha saw me only as air, then I could only say to this village: No thanks!
"I'm sorry, Ran," Sakura apologized. "So? Are you coming with me now?" Asuma wanted to know. I sighed. “Because of me.” And so it was that we all went to this Yakiniku Q together. On the way there, I learned a lot about my companions and I also had to answer a few questions myself. But since I apparently suffered from amnesia, Naruto soon gave up pestering me with his questions. Actually, I could remember a lot and could have answered at least 70% of his questions, but I really didn't feel like doing that at the moment. Plus, I had such a strange feeling the whole time. It felt like I was missing something. I didn't know what it was, but I was missing something.
During the meal I was rather calm. "Ran? Ran!" I winced. "Are you okay?" Sakura looked at me worried. "Yeah, well, I'm just thinking," I said, shaking my head. "Funny kid," Ino muttered. "I'm not weird!" I replied."Maybe not. But you are too thin. You should eat more," said Choji. I looked down at myself. Okay, maybe I was a little thin. “Here.” Choji held out a bowl of rice and I took it half gratefully, half skeptically. Did he want me to be round like him? No, that would be stupid. Besides, I wouldn't let that happen. And it would be new to me that a bowl of rice would make you fat.
Now I noticed that Naruto had been staring at me so strangely the whole time. "What ?!" I asked angrily. "You look familiar to me, dattebayo," Naruto muttered without looking away. Sakura hit him on the head. "Ouch! Sakura-chan, what was that for?" Complained the blonde. "Stupid question! You found her in the forest and brought her to the hospital," said Sakura. "Oh! Then you are the little one!" And he was staring at me again. "Apparently. So I have to thank you? After all, you somehow saved me." "Oh, it goes without saying. I can't just leave a little girl lying in the woods," he said with a wink.
"By the way, Sakura. Where did you get this bag from? It doesn't really fit you," Ino remarked. "Oh yes! I forgot that!" Sakura took out a brown shoulder bag and put it on the table. "Ran, is it yours?" "Um ... yes. Thanks." I took the bag and looked inside. Inside was a purse, a small water bottle, a black book, and a necklace with a pendant. I was particularly taken with this chain. I took it out and looked closely at the trailer. It was a gem the size of a giant egg. It was red and had beautiful orange and yellow patterns. It was also wrapped in silver wire so it could be worn as a pendant.
Suddenly I was tapped. "Hello! Ran!" Do you never listen? "This time Ino brought me back out of my trance. "Let me! What is it?" "Do you want to eat something more?" I shook my head and turned back to the stone. In order not to fall into such a trance again, I just turned the necklace around and looked at my plate. There wasn't much left, apparently I was really hungry. So it was good that we met Team 10. Sensei Asuma was a nice guy, apart from his annoying smoking. Ino was somehow not that sympathetic to me, I don't know why. Choji was all right, he was just a little pissed off. Shikamaru was also very nice, like me, he was annoyed by a lot of things.
A little later we said goodbye to the four and were now walking through Konoha again. In the meantime it was almost completely dark. "Where do I live now?" I asked, after all I couldn't sleep on the street. "Well, Tsunade asked Sensei Kakashi. He would be able to accommodate you for a few days, then you'd have to look for your own apartment," said Sakura. "Aha. And where do I have to go now?" "Don't worry, we'll go with you, dattebayo!" Naruto grinned so broadly again. ˆWhether he can also grin in a circle?Would definitely look funny ... ˆ
It wasn't long before we were standing in front of this kakashi's apartment. Sakura knocked. ˆDon't they have a bell here? Man how old fashioned! ˆ A tired looking guy with gray hair opened the door. Gray hair?! How old is that guy? ˆ "Hello Sensei Kakashi! We'll bring little Ran over to you, dattebayo." Naruto still hadn't lost his grin. "Ah, good. I've already prepared something. Come on in," Kakashi said to me. He stepped aside and I went into the small apartment. Apparently I was standing in the hallway, there wasn't really much here. So I started exploring the rooms. There was a bathroom, a small kitchen, and a bedroom with a normal and an improvised bed. The last thing I found was a kind of little living room. I went back to the door. There the three were just saying goodbye to each other. "Naruto, I just wanted to tell you something," I said. “What?” ˆCan the guy stop grinning? ˆ "I'm NOT small, right?", I got a little irritated. Indeed, his grin disappeared. “Come on now, Naruto!” Before the blonde could say anything else, Sakura paced him and dragged him with her.
Kakashi closed the door. "So, do we want to do this whole show box again?" He asked. I shook my head. He walked past me into the kitchen. "Do you want to eat something?" "No thanks. I already have." "Good." Kakashi went into the living room, I followed him. Apparently he didn't know exactly what to do now. "It's getting late. Maybe I should go to bed." With that I had probably helped him, he seemed relieved. "Okay. You should have seen your bed by now." I nodded. "Tsunade brought me some clothes for you, they are on your blanket. You can get ready in the bathroom. If you have any questions, just ask. I'll stay awake for a while." I nodded again and left in the
