Chapter: why me?!
Trunks and I actually thought that Samira and Goten would be waiting for us in front of the door. Which wasn't the case, somehow. Despite my injuries, I helped Trunks look for it.
We went together because I couldn't walk properly. The swimming pool was full, but without Samira and Goten. The water was exchanged and the people stood at the edge of the pool and watched as all the water drained away.
Trunks checked the men's locker room and shower and I checked the women's locker room and shower. "Did you find her?" Trunks wanted to know from me when we met again in the hallway. "No and you?" "I haven't found her either, come on, let's keep looking" said Trunks. But there was no trace of the two of them anywhere. We got together again and looked in the sauna, the steam bath, the solarium, the thermal baths, the baths that were outside and in the coffee shop, but the two were gone. Just not there anymore. Trunks and I decided, with a heavy heart, that we should change and go home, which would very likely have been the best option in this situation.Trunks and I met again at the cash register. He said "come on, let's release another announcement before we go, maybe the two will come after all" I agreed to it. We waded at the entrance for twenty-two minutes. "Then Son-Goths should bring Samira home," he said, a little annoyed. He was just as reluctant to wait any longer as I was.
Including everything, that is, searching and announcement and the waiting time, a good fifty minutes have passed, and we really didn't feel like waiting any longer.
Trunks helped me up from the chair I'd been waiting in and hugged my hip so I could lean on him. As soon as we had walked through the front door, we were greeted with a very confidential voice: "Well, finally, what have you been doing for so long, we've been waiting for you out here for fifty minutes". Trunks and I looked around to see where the voices were coming from.We searched and searched, once again, but this time only with our eyes without having to exert ourselves too much. Then suddenly the two of them came bent around a corner that was planted with thick bushes. Samira and Goten, whom we had been looking for so long, stood outside the whole time we were inside and seemed to be waiting for us there. "Great, couldn't you have waited inside for us," said Trunks, annoyed. "Exactly" I supported him "we were looking for you inside all the time". "Yes, and we've been waiting for you outside," said Goten and Trunks. "Yes, who said you should wait for us outside?" I asked the two missing. "Yes, you gave me to understand that we should wait outside," said Samira once. "Yes, but not quite outside, you should just wait in front of the door," I said with a smile.
After a while of silence, we all started laughing. It also took a while until we had calmed down again.
Then Samira asked "yes and what do we do now ?!" "yes, go home, we can no longer bathe, that means Steffi can no longer bathe" he mumbled something that sounded like "and go without Steffi I don't go into the water either ". Trunks picked me up because it was still really difficult for me to walk on my feet a lot. "We can no longer be correct and pure, since the water is full of Steffi's blood," said Goten. "Well, I was happy to do that and besides, it was always a dream of mine to pollute a swimming pool so that all the water has to be replaced," I said with black humor. "I thought so," came from Samira. Trunks, who I carried in his arms, first looked into my eyes, but then at the floor. I think he wanted to tell me again that he didn't like the way I spoke so much black humor about what was going on.But what should I do, should I mop up and always remember that my life could be over sooner than I would like ?! His life could also pass quickly, he would only have to hit an opponent who would be stronger than him. If he wasn't careful, he'd go on it just as quickly as I would with my stigmata. So from that point of view he didn't have to blame me.
On the whole way home Trunks didn't say a single word, he wanted to tell me something but didn't. He didn't laugh either. He was just completely serious about the matter. I had the feeling that he seemed a little mad at me, I guess because of the black humor. I really couldn't think of anything better in this situation and besides, what should I have done ?! I can't be sad about it all my life. Sure it's bad, but I'm not giving up my life because of that. After this long way home, which was very depressing, I was glad to be back in the living room. Bulma wasn't thrilled when Trunks told her that. Vegeta wanted to know from Trunks how it happened. He seemed genuinely interested in it.
When Trunks told him about the humor that Samira and I had in the matter, he started laughing. Vegeta thought it was really good that I could still joke around despite the situation. You could tell from Trunks' eyes that he didn't think much of the attitude that Vegeta was showing him.
Poor Trunks, seemed to really like me. But you could also tell from Goten's eyes that he didn't think much of the story either.
Samira and I watched TV with Vegeta until the meal was ready. Bra stayed the night with her friend and Son-Goten stayed with us again.
After dinner we watched TV, I think it was about three hours.Trunks sat at the very end of the sofa. I couldn't stand it and sat down next to him. He still seemed very pissed off so I hugged him. It seemed to me that he didn't care. But that didn't matter to me, because I wasn't about to let go of him again so quickly.
I felt stupid after a while. I really thought I could be fine with Trunks with such a stupid hug. How naive I was. When I finally got too stupid, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and then went to bed.
Samira sneaked up to me from behind and gave me a fright. I screamed so loud that everyone thought something had happened to me. But apart from Trunks nobody came to see me. He probably really thought that something would have happened to me.
He stopped in the door and just looked at me and Samira.
I walked past him into our room with a view of the floor, that of me and Samira.I couldn't look at him.
When I was finally in bed, I thought about a lot of things. I wondered if it might not be better if I went. I didn't know where to go, but I couldn't stay here either. At least that's what I thought. I was totally desperate, I didn't know what to do. Great I hugged Trunks. How stupid I was. I'm not sure if he even wanted anything from me. And then I hug him, I didn't even know that I was so naive.
At some point I got up too.
The sun shone into our room, like the mornings before. Trunks and Goten were back at school. I got up, got dressed and had breakfast with Vegeta and Bulma. Samira was still sleeping.
After I finished breakfast, I put on my shoes and went out. Bulma stood at the front door for a while, but didn't stop me. She probably knew that I wanted to be alone for a while.I have no idea where I was going. But I passed the school, but kept walking. I've been on the road for a long time.
I arrived at a forest that was maybe twenty kilometers from the city. I had heard from Bulma and Vegeta this morning that Trunks and Goten had a very long school today. I had no idea what Samira was doing, but to be honest, I didn't care. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know how to look Trunks in the eyes again. I had no idea about anything.
I ran through the forest, crossed a clearing and ran back into a dense part of the forest.
I sat down on some tree that had fallen and tried to think. But all that came to mind was nothing, just nothing. So I sat around for a while, with empty thoughts and glassy eyes that were fixed on the floor. Until I felt tremors. I had no idea what was going on.I was torn from my empty thoughts again by the tremors. It was then that I noticed that my wrists were bleeding, but not only those, but also my feet. The blood stained the beautiful white sneakers red. The quake came closer and closer. Again I didn't know what to do. Until I felt a large carnivorous dinosaur behind me. I turned and jumped up abruptly.
I wanted to run and could do it a few meters. I fell there again. I screamed as loud as I could. But not because the carnivore was slowly getting closer, no, I screamed so loudly because now I was bleeding on my back as well. I had just received the third wound in which something whipped me.
I saw blood everywhere, coming from my wrists, from my feet, from my back and from my eyes. I hadn't noticed the blood in my eyes yet. There was so much blood, so much, I thought I was going to die.I saw the dinosaur approaching blurred, it was already so close that I smelled its bad breath. I got sick, so bad that I had to sit on the floor.
I noticed that I had long since given up screaming. Someone came down from above, I couldn't make out who it was anymore. Then I fell on the floor and lay there with all the blood that was around me.
