Chapter 1 _ An uncanny encounter

So, my first Shaman King FF! I started some time ago and have just rediscovered them.
I'm busy writing the end and wanted to put in the beginning to see if the FF arrives.
Well, sometimes I find that I got a little too dramatic and cheesy (especially towards the end of the FF).
So I want to hear your opinion.

Chapter 1 _ An uncanny encounter

A sound. Yes, I woke up from it. It's the middle of the night. I get up slowly. > What is it? <I open the door quietly so I can hear where the noise is coming from. It comes from below. Because I want to know what it is, I sneak down the stairs. In the hallway downstairs I hear something falling down. Yes, it comes from the kitchen. The door is a few meters in front of me. It is even open a crack. I sense someone's presence. It's kind of a strange feeling.I decide to go to the kitchen. As I stood in front of the door, I noticed that my heart was beating faster than usual. That makes me a little nervous. > You open the door on three! Ok, one, two ... three! <The door opens fully. There is the figure that makes these noises. It's yoh. "Yoh? What are you doing?" I ask him while he is still staring at me. Then he smiles sheepishly and says: "Oh, hello Anna. I ... was hungry and ..." He looks at me. He just looks at me and smiles. Amidamaru hovers behind him and shakes his head. "You just ate a lot for dinner! How can you be hungry again?" I ask without showing any emotion. Without waiting for an answer, I add "Hmm, it doesn't matter. Go to bed now. It's getting late." Then I turn around and go back into the hallway, up the stairs to my room. When I lay there again, I couldn't sleep.After a few minutes I heard footsteps in the corridor. Yoh went back to his room. > What was that feeling? Was that yoh I felt there? That can not be really. Why should I be uncomfortable with Yoh? But there was no one else there. I do not understand that. <After a few more minutes I can fall asleep.
In the morning I wake up to the rays of the sun shining on my face. First I have to blink, but it doesn't take long before I can see clearly again. Then I get up and go back down the stairs to the kitchen door. Exactly the same way as in the night. But this time the feeling is gone. Just disappeared. I open the door and see Manta and Yoh sitting at the table. The meal is already ready. You've been waiting for me. "Oh, good morning Anna!" Said Yoh when he saw me. And again he grinned. "Morning, Anna! Breakfast is already ready.", Manta said and pointed to the table. "Tomorrow." I just say and sit down at the table.I can't forget that feeling. That strange feeling that I had felt during the night. Even though I knew I wouldn't see anything, I take a good look around the room. But as I expected, there was nothing. "Anna? Are you all right?" These words get me out of my thoughts again. Yoh is looking straight at me. I feel his gaze. He seems to have noticed that I'm thinking about something. "Everything ok", I reply and start with breakfast. I notice that Yoh doesn't believe me, but he doesn't ask any further. He leaves me alone and just eats his breakfast.
I hurry up with breakfast, give Manta the shopping list for lunch and go to the bathroom. Hopefully this nice warm water will make me think clearly again. I take off my towel and sit comfortably in the water. This warmth that envelops the whole body even makes me smile. You immediately feel better. Actually, I don't feel like thinking about what happened last night.I try to suppress everything, but I can't. That feeling really ... scared me. > Hopefully I don't have to go through this again. <
Suddenly I hear the door open behind me. "Anna, come on please. I think there is trouble!" Immediately afterwards the door closes again. That was Yoh again. I don't even have to turn around for that. > What is going on again? <Even if I don't want to leave this warm water, I get out to get dressed.
After about five minutes I'm done and I'm on my way to see what's going on. From a few meters away I can hear Manta talking excitedly in the living room. When I get to it I see Yoh standing in the middle of the room. "Anna!" Manta said aloud when he saw me. Yoh turned around right away and came up to me. "What's going on?" I ask, not very interested. "Ren just sent us a message.", Yoh answers my question. "A message? And?" "He sent us a ghost.We don't understand him. Can you try “For a brief moment I stand dead in place.” Anna? ", Yoh asks again when I don't say anything. I have a strange feeling in my stomach again. But it's different than the other day. I can already feel the ghost. So I just nod and go out into the garden.
There he was now. It is one of the warrior spirits of the Tao family. "That could be difficult," I say to the others. "Please try," says Yoh from behind me. I nod again and take off my pearls. I want to try to contact the spirit. "You spirit that wanders in the dark. See my pearls, they light your way. My voice guides you." Then everything around me becomes dark. All I see are my pearls. They shine. Otherwise everything is dark. There is the feeling again. That creepy, oppressive feeling. I'm afraid. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. When I turn my head to the side, I can see Yoh. "Yoh?"I just manage. He smiles. He doesn't do anything but smile. Now I understand what's going on. Yoh isn't really here. He just wants to show me he's there." Thank you. "I feel my way through the darkness. And finally I see it. The spirit. The closer I get to it, the stronger the feeling." Who are you? Anyway, Ren didn't send you, did he? "I say sharply." Hehe. You're quite right about that, little one. I am impressed that you even got this far. "says a cold, dark voice.
