When Tenten awoke, the full moon was in the sky. She felt weak and tired, as if someone had drained all of her life force. But then she sat up in astonishment. Why was she still alive at all? A rustle in the bushes behind her made her turn. A clump of pink hair glowed in the moonlight and disappeared into the trees. Yama. Anger but also sadness and a strange emptiness came over her. A look at her wrist showed that the cut was gone, giving way to a narrow, white scar.Yama had healed the wound. Tenten closed his eyes. She was so incredibly tired. And she didn't want to be considered to die. Why didn't anyone understand that? Why did everyone want to save her, keep her from death? They were all so happy, so damn happy! Sakura with Sasuke, Hinata with Naruto and Ino with Shikamaru. And Neji, her Neji, belonged to someone else. With these aching thoughts, Tenten got up and staggered in the direction of Konoha. An hour later she sank down on her bed and fell asleep a few minutes later.

The sun was ready high in the sky when Tenten awoke. She lay there for a while and stared at the white ceiling. Yesterday had changed her even more drastically, Tenten could feel it, but she couldn't say how she had changed. Not yet ... Before she could sink into her self-destructive and jealous thoughts again, she preferred to get up. She ran aimlessly through Konoha, ignoring where her feet were taking her. Finally she stood in front of Yama's front door without meaning to. At first she wanted to turn around, but something stopped her. Hesitantly and without really wanting to, she knocked on the door and waited. Nobody opened. Almost relieved, Tenten turned around and suddenly found himself face to face with Neji. Startled, she stumbled back, but immediately recovered. "What do you want from me?" She asked in a dismissive voice. "I was only interested in what YOU, of all people, wanted from Yama. By the way, she's on a longer mission, if you're interested," said the Hyuuga heir, just as dismissively, but Tenten saw in his eyes that this cold was just a play and he was actually deeply saddened. Tenten ran through Konoha crying. The tears blurred her eyes so she couldn't see where she was going and eventually bumped into someone. The impact caused her to tumble to the ground. But she made no move to get up, she just lay there and continued sobbing. Only when someone bent over her did she register that she was not alone. She wiped her face carefully and looked directly into Lee's concerned eyes. "Tenten? What happened?" The brown-haired woman tried to tell him everything, but sobs shook her body so much that she could not utter a word. "Tenten? Do you want to come to me?" Asked her friend. She nodded through tears and let him help her up. But she was crying so much that Lee carefully picked her up and took her to him.At home he first laid her on the sofa and sat next to it. And waited for Tenten to calm down a bit. She was curled up on the sofa, her hands clenched in her hair and weeping quietly and desperately. Lee gently stroked her tousled hair. He was worried about her. Big worries. "What happened to you, Tenten ...?"

After a while the sobs subsided and Tenten calmed down. She was breathing softly and her eyes were closed. Lee carefully covered the sleeping Tenten and lay down on the second sofa in the room. He didn't want to leave her alone in this state. But despite all attempts to stay awake, at some point his eyes too closed.

When Lee woke up, his first glance fell on the empty sofa across from him. Tenten was gone. He sat up cursing. Then his eyes fell on a piece of paper that was written in Tenten's neat handwriting. He immediately began to read. As he read, his eyes widened.Dear Lee,
