Determination or love triumphs

I dedicate this chapter to BlushinqBitch. She was the only one who sent me a picking point. I hope I get more commissioners for this chapter.

“See him as Aiko sees him.” Inuyasha kept thinking of Kagome's words. He continued to watch Itachi. Soon he was finished with breakfast. Aiko also woke up and joined him. She gave him a little kiss on the cheek and helped him bring breakfast to the table.
Nobody spoke a word during the meal. But Inuyasha no longer looked as if he was about to rip Itachi's head off. That was as much true for Kagome as it was for Aiko. After dinner, Itachi helped Kagome wash the dishes. She had almost taken him to her heart. Later, Itachi and Aiko went for a walk. But Inuyasha watched them again. He watched as Itachi plucked a flower from her and put Aiko in her hair. She blushed, but there was no kiss. He lifted her chin but just looked into her eyes. They went on hand in hand.Inuyasha was beginning to understand. Itachi looked a lot like Sessomaru, but hadn't inherited his character. If he should be honest then he found him sympathetic too. Itachi practically carried Aiko on her hands and helped with the household.

In the evening when it was time to sleep, the two were still outside. Kagome prepared the camp for Itachi for the night. Aiko and Itachi came in a little later. Both looked at his bed for the night. When Aiko wanted to say "good night", Inuyasha came into the house. “I'd like to talk to you Itachi.” He went outside. Aiko watched them go and sighed. "Maybe-" she began.
"It looks like Inuyasha does like him. I'm sure he wants to be alone with him for a while." Aiko winced. Kagome stood in the doorway. Lately, Kagome had gotten into the uncomfortable habit of tearing others out of their thoughts. She stood next to Aiko and led her to the table. She made tea to calm Aiko down. But Aiko couldn't calm down.She sat at the table, trembling with tension, absently sipping her tea.
“Don't worry little one.” Kagome put a hand on hers.

Suddenly there was a bang outside. The two women startled. Something happened there. Aiko ran to the exit and looked out. At a distance, Inuyasha and Itachi were fighting. Not against each other, but against Sessomaru. So far they have only faced each other. But that shouldn't last that long. Aiko wasted no time.
"AIKO, WAIT !!!" shouted Kagome as Aiko ran out of the house. “Sessomaru what are you doing here?” Inuyasha was furious. Sessomaru grinned insidiously. “I'm proud of you Itachi. That's exactly how we planned it.” “What?” Itachi was confused. What was he talking about?
"You lured him into our trap. That's what I'm talking about." "That- that's not true. That is not true." Itachi looked at Aiko. She looked as confused as he did. Did she believe him? But Inuyasha wasted no time. He pulled Tessaiga and stormed towards him."DAD, NO! He's innocent!" Aiko ran in between. She stood in front of Itachi. Inuyasha stopped in front of her. Aiko looked at him seriously. "Heartbreaking. But she's right. Itachi has nothing to do with it. I was just waiting for Itachi to be alone with you. But it doesn't matter now." Sessomaru now stormed towards Inuyasha. But Itachi knew what he was up to. He hadn't heard Sessomaru talking about anything else lately. Itachi stood in front of Inuyasha and attacked him. The fight did not last long. Sessomaru was completely surprised by the attack that he received several blows from Itachi. Somewhat injured, he left the field. Aiko ran to Itachi. He wasn't hurt. They fell into each other's arms.
"Itachi ..." Inuyasha's voice was full of remorse. "I'm sorry for being so rough with you. I'm a real stubborn head sometimes-" "And not just sometimes." Everyone turned to Kagome. Then they all laughed.

"What I really want to say ... well ... I have seen that you have a kind hearted soul.And ... I hope you don't make Aiko unhappy. Because then you have to deal with me. Come on, hug each other. "Aiko couldn't believe her ears. Did he just say that they should hug? Itachi and Aiko looked each other in the eye. Then he had to smile. Then he pulled Aiko to him and hugged her. Aiko realized too and pulled his Head down to her and kiss him.
"That took a long time, Inuyasha." said Kagome and wrapped her arms around him too. They went back together. Hand in hand, Aiko and Itachi went to their room and went to sleep. Aiko fell asleep immediately. Itachi lay awake for a long time. *I can not believe it. I am lying here with my dream woman, arm in arm and her father accepts me. I'm so happy. * he thought. then he gave her a little kiss on the forehead and fell asleep.

"I'm so happy that you finally saw it." Kagome lay down next to Inuyasha who was already in bed. "Yeah, I'm sure Itachi is serious.""Did you see Aiko's face when you said 'embrace now'?" Kagome laughed. Inuyasha had to grin too. "Yes I have. They really love each other." Kagome crawled under the covers and snuggled up against him. “And I love you.” Then they fell asleep too.
