Third cut

Itachi's PoV
"Nice weather, isn't it?"
What a stupid saying.
It has rained for the last few days and the roads are still
very muddy.
The rays of the sun gently bathe the forest floor in a dreamlike atmosphere
Sham.
Deidara is leaning against a tree.
Don't look me in the eye for a moment.
I don't know what to say
I don't want it at all.
But the silence is just overwhelming.
Simply unbearable.
But Deidara won't start a conversation.
It was the worst for him when he found out that Sakura, that Konoha-nin, had killed Sasori.
It wasn't as bad for anyone as it was for him.
But if he just stands there and says nothing, I can't help him with the best of will.
"He's up there now."
I spin around.
Deidara stares at the sky.
"Whom do you mean?"
"Sasori!"
He looks at me.
"Now he's a real angel," he adds.
Slowly my gaze also wanders to the clouds.
I recognize some birds.They remind me of Deidara's.
But I haven't seen any of his for a long time.
He always looked so happy when he blew something up.
If only he would do it again.
Then he would smile again.
As he used to do so often in the past.
"He's happy now!"
Deidara looks up again.
I go slowly to him.
Step on a branch.
The crack inclines him.
But seconds later he is lost in thought again.
The wind blows lightly through his long blond hair.
Stir it up.
But it doesn't bother him.

Deidara's PoV
Sasori is sure to be up there.
He's always been an angel.
So it just can't be anywhere but up there in heaven.
Left me behind though.
In this cold world.
Without him.
I would do anything to be with him.
And if I had to take my life for it.
But first I have to get rid of what still binds me to this world.No matter who or what it is!
Nobody needs me here anyway.
Nobody wants me.
Nobody.
Just nobody.
I'm not worth anyone needing me
I take a deep breath.
"Deidara?"
Itachi put his arms on the tree trunk next to my head.
Looks deep into my eyes.
With such a compassionate look.
I can only answer with a questioning look.
He takes a deep breath.
What is he up to?
I push him away from me.
"Please leave me alone!"
Turn away from him.
Can't stand standing here with him.
I take a quick look at Itachi.
He looks after me depressed.
Then I run.
Just run away
Not just in front of the Uchiha.
Before my life.
