[ Friendship Never Dies ]
Two
Dennis was beside himself:
"Why did you jump on the track ?! You could have done something else!"
"This guy, Kenji, he's not normal. He turns crooked things. He's dangerous. He wanted to harm you, you and Hannes. She saved you!" so Daisy.
"But how did you know?" Raven asked Carina carefully.
The latter was sitting on her bed and looking out the window.
"I think about it all the time, too. I had a kind of premonition. A kind of… vision. I can't explain it either…" she sighed. "I looked him in the eye, then ... I saw these pictures. That Kenji would ram Hannes ... I had to prevent that ... I didn't have much time to think."
"Is at least your foot doing better?" Dennis asked her.
"Yes, it's okay ..." Carina got up and went outside. She wanted to get a coffee before she went nuts. The others just looked after her, confused. Carina went down to the first floor to grab the coffee machine. The young woman sighed and headed for the machine, but she didn't like what she saw at all. Kenji was leaning against the wall next to the coffee machine. Carina looked at him coldly and stopped immediately.
Then she turned to the machine and put in some money.
"I knew you would come here sooner or later ..." he laughed softly.
Carina looked up. He had a pretty deep voice. At first Carina ignored him, which was understandable. But Kenji grabbed her shoulder and looked into her eyes.
"Hannes and Dennis would both be dead if you hadn't seen the accident beforehand!" he hissed. And his way began to 1. scare Carina and 2. annoy her.
"Don't touch me, boy ..." she said flatly, but somehow cold. "I want to advise you, leave my friends and me alone. I don't know what you want, how you know I had a vision and why I got it when I looked at you, but I'll find out and then that Headmaster say. "Kenji grinned.
"Oh will you?"
"You can rely on it ..." she replied and took her coffee. She pushed him aside and walked quickly to the hall where the other new students and probably their friends were eating. In the afternoon Carina would visit Lissy and take her for a walk. Lissy had started training as a nurse and often told Carina about it. She said that Lissy would do it. She was determined. Carina was quite proud of her.
Lissy put the pen aside and sighed. The others looked at her, expectant and hopeful. Lissy grinned and said calmly:
"We are well prepared!"
The other girls were beaming.
"Thank you for helping us!" said Carina and took her in his arms.
The others agreed.
"So we're going to buy you a round of ice cream," said Raven, laughing.
"OK." Lissy grinned.
Lissy had gone through the last few months with Daisy, Raven, Tina and Carina. Now it was time to wait until the evening and then go to the examiners one by one.
Everyone prepared individually for this evening. He would decide whether or not they would be accepted into the school. It was a nervous act for everyone to wait for the exam to begin.
Daisy, for example, took a long, long bath. She was listening to soft music and even had candles on. Raven was sitting next to the bathtub reading a book. They didn't want to be alone during this time. Tina was at home with her family to prepare. Dennis and Hannes on the road somewhere with their motorcycles and Carina with Lissy in the yard.
"If you have passed, you have to let me know immediately! And the others too!" Lissy was saying when Carina brought her to her car.
It was pretty cold and the wind was blowing harder and harder. Carina had seen the weather forecast and there would be storms the next night.
"Please drive carefully, Lissy", Carina warned her."Because of the wind?" asked her friend.
"Yes, there is a storm coming ..." Carina looked up.
Clouds had moved in front of the almost full moon. It was getting dark.
"Okay then, good luck!" said Lissy, smiled and got into the car.
Carina watched her go until she was out of sight and beyond. Hopefully it would be well received. Then the black-haired woman turned and was startled. She winced when she saw the man in the black cloak appear in front of her. He felt like he was twice her size and in the moonlight he looked dangerous. And terrifying.
Carina took a step back.
"Good evening," came the sinister.
Carina looked at him with wide eyes. Only then did she recognize the features and the devilish grin on his face.
"What do you want, Kenji ?!" she hissed at him and wanted to go on.
"It will be very stormy tonight," said the older man. He stopped in her shadow, didn't follow her as she walked a few more steps. Why did he suddenly have such white hair?
"Why do you want to harm me and my friends?" she asked without turning to him.
“Who said that?” Kenji's voice didn't change.
“You wanted to kill Dennis and Hannes!” Carina turned to him with a swing.
Kenji shook his head and laughed.
"Naive thing!"
Carina raised both eyebrows and cleared her throat. He had tried to ram Hannes! And Dennis would have been next! Carina closed her eyes briefly.
"What do you want?"
"It would be better if you went in. The exams are waiting ..." Kenji turned away and walked towards the forest.
Carina paused for a moment and looked after him and really well, she didn't even think about it. This guy was really, in her eyes at least, the absolute horror. She really didn't like him. It was that way. And he had tried to harm Hannes and Dennis.Carina could not have cope with that. If she hadn't intervened during the race, Hannes and Dennis would probably already be dead.
Carina went towards the gate. Now it was getting serious, the exams would begin.
It was always terribly cold in the corridors of the main house. Everything was old and it drew. Carina hated wandering the hallways late at night. She had followed the math teacher through the villa for almost 3 minutes. All students were called individually to the rector. All students were tested in subjects that were important to them and all students, all of them, had to take an oath. Inwardly, Carina was more than excited about this oath. Nobody had ever told what he was tested into.
The teacher in front of her stopped so suddenly that Carina hit him with full force. Nevertheless, he said nothing, just pointed to the door. Carina looked at him briefly, then went through the door into the director's office.
She walked down the short corridor to his desk. The room was semi-dark, crammed with bookcases and all that kind of library stuff. Carina looked around. She was completely in her thoughts and only heard the rector's footsteps when he was almost next to her.
"Carina?" he smiled and gave her his rights in greeting.
She was a little shocked for a moment, but then took it.
"Well. So you're here at the school to later become a police officer, am I right?"
Carina nodded silently.
The principal turned to the window and clasped his hands behind his back. She just stood in her seat and looked at him.
"Nobody will find out about the exam you are going to take today. Neither will you know about the events. said the principal monotonously and turned back to her after looking at the full moon for a short while.
"Yes, sir."
"Good. I tested all of your potential in class a long time ago, regular reports and observation have shown which house you should come to.The talk of the exam, Carina, is only there so that you young people learn that you should not only learn for work, but also in between. It is for that alone. You won't have to take an exam here today. And none of the other students either. "The director paused for a long time, then continued:
"The selection process for the houses is complete. Very few get into the best of our houses. Only the students with the most potential, which leads in this direction. It is not about academic performance, such as mathematics and biology, German and foreign languages. No, it's about something much bigger in this house. It's about the darkness and the magic. "
When the older one ended, Carina was wounded and shocked at the same time. Did this guy have a great tit ?! Magic and darkness?
"Sir, there is no magic."
"Oh really not? And why does Kenji McEwen's hair turn white at night?"
“Hairdresser?” Carina shrugged.
“Every night?” The headmaster smiled. "Well, first of all, spend a little time in your new house."
He took something off the desk and looked at it for a short while. Carina could see a slight grin on his lips.
"Take this," he handed her an envelope. "Call the number in it when you have settled in your room. Your roommate is called Patrick and the number of the room is also in this letter, as well as your subjects, the times and rooms. The things you still need and everything else . The one who answers this number is your mentor mentor, you will tell him everything that is bothering you and he will help you out of everything. I shared you new ones, their mentors weeks ago. Well, that's it , you can go, Carina. "
She stared at him and wanted to say something else, but the principal turned away and looked at the full moon again. Then Carina noticed that this conversation was over.
So, that was the 2nd chapter.I hope everyone likes it & 'I did my job well. :)
