An unfortunate mistake

"Wake up. Caro ... Hey, wake up!" Someone shook me slightly. Drunk with sleep, I hit the person. “Ouch!” This time I was shaken harder. "What is it?" I nagged sleepily. “You have to get up!” Naruto stood in front of me with his arms crossed. "I don't want to!" I grumbled. "I have no problem fetching a bucket of ice water!" He threatened me. I immediately jumped out of bed. "You're just as annoying as Kakashi!" I accused him. He grinned. "Thank you. I'll do my best." After this sentence I disappeared into the bathroom. For the first time I went to the shower. Finally warm water again! Believe it or not, everyone in the hospital had at best lukewarm water so that the elderly wouldn't get scalded ...! Is that what you believe ?! I snorted.

After the pleasant shower, I wrapped a towel around myself because I had forgotten my clothes in the next room. Before leaving the bathroom, I peeked through the keyhole to make sure Naruto wasn't there. When I was sure the air was clear, I ran out of the room. I quickly dug my clothes out of the suitcase. I was delusional that Naruto would come into the room at any moment, as always in movies. Of course it wasn't. I sighed and went back to the bathroom. There I changed in peace, blow-dried and combed my hair and put on a little make-up. "Are you ready soon?" I heard Naruto's voice through the door. Instead of answering, I opened the door and nodded. "Well, we have to go right away.", Naruto said. "Whaaas? No breakfast ?!" I asked horrified. The blonde laughed. "How do you ever want to be a ninja?" "What's that got to do with breakfast?" I pouted. "When you're on a mission, some days you have nothing to eat," he replied seriously. "And that is the reason why you refuse me my breakfast?" "You can eat something later," suggested Naruto. "All right ..." Reluctantly, I started moving.

We had finally reached the school. “Caro, you're back!” It was Kiba's voice. "Yes. One more day in the hospital and I would have freaked out," I said. He nodded in agreement.
