"Au-Pair" comes from French and means "for mutuality":
Au pairs live with a host family abroad, learn the national language and - in return - may help with childcare and household chores.
Advantages: There are no problems with looking for an apartment, free meals are provided, there is pocket money for work and you are taken in by a family.

This is exactly your calling out of passion, because you are bright young people who are enthusiastic about many ideas - including learning a new language. With the help of an au-pair agency, you will find a friendly host family in your desired country who willingly accepts you. In return for the generous hospitality, you will help with the household and possibly with childcare.
For half a year a new everyday life begins for you with new problems and new hurdles that you have to overcome.
