Chapter 3 - Awakening Feelings

"See you later!" Akane said goodbye to her family in a friendly manner. Shuji was waiting for her in front of the house. She hooked up with him and together they left the property. "What do we want to do now?" Akane looked at her companion questioningly. “shopping?” She looked at him in astonishment. “You go shopping voluntarily?” “Yes.” “Are you from another planet?” She looked at him skeptically. He shook his head and laughed. “We can go to the mall.” “Oh yes. There are nice skirts.” “So let's go see skirts.” “But we don't have to.” “I don't mind, it will be fun.” Shuji grinned .

The mall was huge. Crowds poured through the large doors. Akane stopped. “What's going on here?” “I don't know, let's go in and see."Shuji pulled her with him." There we have the problem. "He looked at the people." What? "Akane saw her too." A shoe sale. "He laughed. They squeezed through the crowd and went up one floor. Akane went to one of the stands. She happily looked through the skirts, took one out and held it in front of her. Shuji looked at her skeptically. The skirt went up to her over his knees, way too long for his taste. "Hang him up again. I have one here too. "She followed him and hesitated. He pressed it into her hand. The black mini-skirt didn't look bad on her. Akane looked at herself closely." It's beautiful, but do you think it suits me? "" Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have given it to you. "She went into a cubicle and got him dressed. A little later she stepped out to him." Wow! "Akane looked at Shuji." What do you mean? " "That suits you really well. Still the right top and nobody will recognize you anymore. "He grinned." You look good even when you eat."Akane blushed. She changed the subject." Your ice cream is melting, better eat it. "He obeyed and began to eat his ice cream too. After a good hour, they left the ice cream parlor and were on their way home.

He gave up. He just couldn't concentrate. He could probably forget the training for today. Ranma sighed. The whole time he only had one thought. What do you think Akane is doing now? Again, again it had happened. Why did he have to think about his ex-fiancée all the time ?! Even when he was training, it was buzzing around in his head. It couldn't all be true! He slammed the dojo door and gasped for air. The air of the evening was pleasantly cool. He sat down on the wooden floor and looked at the pink sky. The sun was slowly setting, leaving a red trail in the sky. A light breeze greeted the approaching evening. A laugh rang out. It had to be nearby because it was getting louder. It was somehow familiar to Ranma. He got up and quietly crept to the source of the noise. Akane and Shuji stood in front of the house. "Thank you, Shuji. It was super nice." She smiled at him. "Then tomorrow at three, yes?" The person opposite looked at her inquiringly. “Is that supposed to be a date?” She laughed. Ranma continued to look at the two of them. "Yes, would you do me the honor and go with me?"He laughed too now." Yes, of course! "She was just about to take a breath when something closed her lips. Shuji had kissed her. She looked at him startled. He had closed his eyes. She closed her eyes too, began to kiss her again. Akane was floating on clouds. They were no longer promised to one another. She could kiss whoever she wanted, even if he didn't particularly like Shuji. He too went into the house angrily.

Akane looked out the window. Shuji was already cute and he was also good at kissing. The first time she didn't feel like she was being taken advantage of, being used, or being a nuisance. He was the first boy to be so cute to her. Who kissed her without ever asking. She grinned. The last school ball came to her mind. It looked too weird when he realized he should kiss her. Akane and Ranma had been crowned king and queen of the ball at the time. That had always been her wish. The royal couple had to kiss in front of the whole ball company. Ranma had been strictly against it. It was Tratition and Akane had submitted to it. Ranma, however, refused. It was only after half an hour and a lot of commotion that he had agreed to give her a kiss.Despite the fact that it was Ranma who kissed her, it wasn't that bad after all. It was her first kiss. She sighed. Their first kiss, why did it have to be Ranma? Why not Shuji? He was a really good kisser. She couldn't wait to see him again the next day. "This Shuji seems to have done it to her," he continued. There was jealousy in his voice, which Ryoga could not ignore. Ryoga said nothing, but wanted to know exactly how he did After Ranma had finally finished his 'reporting' he realized who he had just said this to. Since when had he been telling Ryoga anything like that? Somehow it had relieved him. Should Ryoga think what he wanted. He doubted he had a chance with Akane anyway. He looked at Ryoga. Had they really had a reasonable conversation? With Ryoga? What had happened now. Otherwise they couldn't stand each other, not even in the same room be.And now they were sitting together in the bathtub and talking? He shook his head. His counterpart looked at him in amazement. But if he thought about it, you could actually have a reasonable conversation with him now and then. “Tell me, does he look good?” “What ?!” Ranma jumped up. “Does he look good?” Ryoga patiently repeated his question. Ranma opened her mouth, but stopped and shrugged. “He's on my laces.” Ryoga grinned to himself. Like it or not, Ranma's jealousy could not be ignored. “If you really want to see him, he'll pick Akane up tomorrow at three.” His (ex-) rival changed the subject. "It's going to be Valentine's Ball soon. Who are you going with?" "I have no idea. I don't even feel like going there at all." "Huh?" Ryoga didn't understand the world anymore. There was a lot of free food and Ranma didn't go ?! He looked at him irritated. "What?!"Annoyed Ranma looked back." Nothing, all right. But there is free food. I just wondered. "" If that's all.
