Inuyasha and the others were just on their way to the next village again. 2 weeks had passed since they fought with Haru. Inuyasha and Kagome had kept their little conversation a secret from Miroku and Sango. At first they didn't want to tell them anything.
Sango and Miroku noticed something anyway. Kagome and Inuyasha hadn't argued since then and had often disappeared together. "See, Miroku? You're doing it again!" Sango said. He nodded. "Right. They're almost ignoring us lately. Do you think they're together and haven't told us anything?" Sango considered. "So the way the two behave, yes. That makes me happy for Kagome!"" Yes, but also for Inuyasha. He's had to endure so much suffering that he should be lucky one day. "Sango agreed with him." Yes. He could have had it a while before! Behind them, Sango and Miroku gave each other a questioning look and began to laugh too.

The girls had wanted to go shopping again for a long time. The boys found a place and began to eat. "That could take a while.", Miroku remarked. Inuyasha and Shippo agreed. Kirara, too, had stayed with them and rested for the time being.
In the market, Sango and Kagome went from one stall to another. "Wow, look at that necklace!" Enthused Sango. "Oh, yes. Great!" Thought Kagome aloud. Sango bought the chain and they moved on. At the next stall, Kagome stopped abruptly. She stared at one of the objects."What is it, Kagome?" Sango asked. "Look here.", Kagome said and pointed to a pendant and chain. "Oh, that's nice.", Sango said when she saw him. "Do you think Inuyasha would like it?" Asked Kagome. Sango said yes, "Of course! It's beautiful." Kagome smiled. "Can I help you, ladies?" Asked the salesman. “Yes, I would like this necklace.” The seller took the necklace, wrapped it in a piece of paper and gave it to her. Kagome paid and went on with Sango.
At the edge of the forest, where the boys were taking a break, suddenly there was a scream. Less than five seconds later, Inuyasha and Miroku were already walking in the direction from which the scream came.
In a clearing they saw a woman lying who was attacked by a snake demon. Inuyasha pulled Tessaiga and destroyed the demon without much effort. Miroku ran to the young woman to see how she was doing. "Are you okay?" He asked her. "My arm hurts."Miroku saw that she was holding her arm, took her hand away from there and saw a deep scratch. He reached into his pocket and took out a gauze bandage, which, as Kagome wanted, he always carried with him." Everything is fine , Miroku? "Inuyasha wanted to know, who had come to him in the meantime." Yes, just a minor injury. Nothing bad. ", Miroku soothed him. Suddenly Inuyasha sensed something and stared into the forest.Another demon?, he asked himself.No, this is not a demon ... is it?Miroku, who didn't notice anything, was amazed when Inuyasha suddenly ran away. ", he thought out loud. But without thinking about it, he helped the woman up to bring her to the village.
