Chapter 3: The Date

The pink-haired woman was still looking at him with disbelief. What was he doing here? She hadn't expected him at all. Somehow guilt came up. Shudder towards him, it was all just her fault. The young man still kept his gaze fixed on Sakura. An apparently infinite silence ensues. An oppressive silence. The sakura is breaking now.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, holding the door open for him to enter. They still looked at each other even when Lee stepped into the house. She closes the door and directs Lee to take a seat in the living room. What was he up to? And what would he say if he knew she was going out with Sai? Maybe another jealousy number? His looks, those longing looks with which he looks at her, they disturbed the pink-haired girl tremendously. But she didn't want to create an even more depressing atmosphere than it already was.
"I .. am here because .." Again, there was an oppressive silence. Was it a trap from Sai? Was it wrong to tell him that she was having an argument with Lee? Could he have sent it to her? She looked at him expectantly, the waiting looks on her part pierced the slightly embarrassed black-haired man.
"Well, I ... I want to apologize, it was unfair to say that earlier, but I knew it hurts you. I'm really sorry, Sakura_Chan," he said to her with a slight bow. Her face rose a little blush, she had never expected that, because she felt that she should actually have apologized. It was her fault why he had reacted like that.
"It's already forgotten, I wasn't entirely innocent either. But I'm grateful that you finally told me. And .." But in the middle of the sentence she is interrupted by a loud doorbell. What's going on today? Do they all know about their Sasuke withdrawal? She opens the door and a black-haired man stood in front of her because she had already forgotten. She waved him in briefly. Went back to Lee and got her sash, which she put around her shoulders, and her handbag.
“Who rang the bell?” Lee asks something into the unknown. Well how should she make it clear to him now that she is going out with Sai? He will definitely be disappointed and angry again when she tells him. So she had to play around cleverly. But how?
"Well, Sai is waiting for me, we wanted to talk about something. If you like, you can come over again tomorrow." She says and held her gaze to the floor. What will he say now? Scream? Cry? Run away? She couldn't predict the reaction of the black-haired man.
"Oh, well. Yes, I'll be back tomorrow. Goodbye Sakura_Chan." He said and bowed again to her and disappeared from the room. She watches him for a few more seconds. Why did she have to do everything wrong? No matter what she did, there is always someone she hurt with it. Why then. She goes back to Sai, who was still waiting in the hallway. Only now did she notice that he had read her last message, so he had actually put on something fancy. A tuxedo and a white shirt. A black bow tie also adorned his neck. Amazed at how good he looked she only noticed now that he was holding a bouquet of roses under her nose and he handed her over with the words "These roses are for the most beautiful flower in the world that is finally starting to bloom". Sakura accepted it and immediately turned red, you didn't know anything elegant about him. Maybe she was wrong after all and he's not as much of a clown and an appendage as she seemed at first to believe. But she was also aware of how much one could be wrong about people. She gave him an embarrassed smile and put the red blooming roses in a vase. The saying he said reminded her of Ino, it would have suited her pretty well. And in her mind she decided to visit her old friend in the next few days. With a look into Sai's eyes and one on the arm that he held out to her, they hooked up with him and together they left the house in which they lived.
"Where are we actually going?" she asks after a while. With a smile on his lip, he turned his head to her.
"Will be a surprise sweet." he says. She dealt with the answer and now smiled as well, when both of them then turn their heads back to the street. A gentle evening breeze brushed her pink hair and carried her in the wind.
After ten minutes of walking, they reached Nobel Virtel in Konoha-Gakure. Sakura didn't really know what they were doing here, because after all sai wasn't exactly the richest, at least she thought so. So they went on until they arrived at a house that fascinated Sakura. It looked so classy.Tables were outside, a red carpet adorned the entrance area and led people inside. The railings were adorned with gold and beautiful garlands decorated with flowers. They couldn't possibly go in there. A starter would cost like Sakura's salary in 2 months. Was it serious? Yes. He led her straight away towards it.
"Sai, are you sure that we will go in there? I mean, I want to have a nice dinner with you, but I didn’t expect anything classy because I would have put on something completely different!" she said with a speechless look at the restaurant.
"Oh honey, you are the prettiest girl in the shop, you can count on it!" he said with a quick glance at her.
"Do you really think I wouldn't be so sure about that. Only the rich of the nobility eat there." she gave and looked at him shyly.
"Yes, that's true, but nothing is too expensive for me." and so they stepped through the entrance gates. The pink-haired woman looked around, and her face was adorned with a certain blush. As befits a gentleman, he pulled the chair over to her and gently pushed her to the table until he sat down himself. A waiter came immediately and brought the cards. Sakura studied everything carefully, there were a lot of delicious things, but she didn't necessarily want to look for the most expensive one. Sai's black eyes studied her, and he found them particularly pretty tonight. His strange glances at the card had not escaped him, however.
"Order what you want, the price doesn't matter. You know, my father is a businessman and therefore earns a lot. So it doesn't matter if it's expensive." With these words he put his hand on hers and ran gently over her. The red color shot again in her face, and gave a small, dainty nod. The waiter came back and wanted to take the order.
"What can I serve, gentlemen?"He asked as politely as possible. Sakura thought that the guy looked like a penguin, he was wearing a tuxedo, and he stretched his chest out too much, which gave the appearance of an animal.
“A water and the bullion, please.” The pink-haired woman tried to appear as politely, well-educated and noble as she could. Then she looked over to her companion, who also smiled at her sweetly and then ordered it himself. The two had been engrossed in conversation for half an hour and were drinking another glass of red wine.
"It's nice that you finally show up, because strictly speaking I don't even know how you really are. I'm happy, sweetheart." with a smile he took the last sip from his glass. Sakura did the same. Then he called the waiter over to pay. The bright green eyes widened briefly when she looked at the bill, so much money, she never thought it would be so expensive. But the black-haired one paid with a smile."Come with me, I want to show you something else." he said and stood right in front of her. He held out his hand to her to help get up.
When they left the restaurant he led them in a direction unknown to them. But where? What does he want with her in a strange place?
"Am I correct in assuming that again you won't tell me where I'm going this time?" she said a little amused. She hasn't had such a lovely evening in a long time. And it is already quite late. But neither of the two was bothered by it, at that moment there is only the two. They were walking through a small forest, the rush of water can be heard from afar. And now they stood there, in the middle of a small lake. Sai stood behind her and carefully put his arms around her. Sakura enjoyed these tenderness, for a long time she had wished for something like that, to be touched by someone else, but she liked Sai. He put his head on her shoulder and together they looked down into the sunset. The sky is bathed in warm colors and obscures the darkness.
"It's wonderful here, thank you Sai. Thank you for being here with me." she said more to herself than to him. But he understood every single word and buried his face in her hair to smell it and pulled her closer into this embrace. Both enjoyed the moment to the full. Sakura had currently turned to him and both of them were pressing their bodies together. They took a short distance to look each other with relish in the eye. Slowly her lips came closer, both had already closed their eyes, but then a rustle could be heard. They turned at the same time in the direction from which they heard the sound. There he was.
