Bianyang
Chapter 1
It has been two weeks since Son Goku and his team were able to stop the demon Boo. Two long weeks in which life returned to normal and Group Z had to deal with the damage caused by the demon Boo. It wasn't the environment or their bodies that were damaged. Because it was the soul that got another crack in many a warrior's heart. Vegeta in particular had to struggle with what had happened. Because it was he who made it possible for the demon to get out of his egg and destroy the world. He had sold his soul to the magician Babidi just to finally be stronger than Son Goku and to be able to fight his long-awaited fight against him. He alone blamed himself for the fact that people all lost their lives and were even allowed to visit his family in the afterlife. He just blamed himself for everything.
Like almost every day, Vegeta sat in front of the kitchen window and stared into space. He hadn't said a word for hours and his look was sad and lost in thought. Even his favorite food couldn't cheer him up. Sighing, Vegeta got up and Bulma, who had been watching him from the kitchen table the whole time, became attentive. She walked over to him, put her hand on his shoulder and looked at him lovingly and compassionately as she was in such a situation. Vegeta couldn't look her in the face. He had fixed his gaze on the kitchen floor and didn't dare lift his head a little. You'd think Vegeta would have been punished for his disobedience by his mother. "Don't you really want to eat anything?" The scientist asked her son's father. When he shook his head, her look also became sad. "Really not? Are you sure? You have to eat something. Please Vegeta." But the otherwise tough warrior put her hand carefully off his shoulder and walked past her. Without a word he climbed the stairs to their shared bedroom. She looked after him. Sighing, she shook her head slightly. She just didn't know what to do. He didn't want to exercise, eat, or sleep. His body would not be able to withstand this mental stress for long and she had to think of something. "Damn it.", She whispered softly and sits down at the kitchen table again. She had to come up with an idea. There was no other way. She doesn't know who else could help him. Even Son Goku and Son Gohan were at the end of their game. And these two rascals always got something with which to lift the mood of such a depressed person. She didn't want to consult a doctor. He wouldn't understand Vegeta's problem at all and might even prescribe medication that wouldn't help him anyway. Bulma sighed sadly and decided to go to her laboratory. Maybe there she would have an idea how she could make the Saiyajin prince happy again.Vegeta was now back in bed and staring at the ceiling. He himself did not understand why he was not doing well. He had the feeling to be empty inside. Every day it crossed his mind that it was his fault that Bulma and his son had been promoted to the afterlife. Even if he knew that the two of them weren't upset, he felt guilty. He, of all people, the Saiyan prince had to struggle with his conscience, which otherwise left him cold. Perhaps the fact that he had put his own family on the line was so insistent that his cold core was slowly beginning to break. He felt weak, found it difficult to move, and even made it harder for him to breathe. He didn't know what exactly was wrong with him. Was his conscience eating him up now? Or was it something completely different?
Slowly he lay on his side. He sighed briefly. His lungs ached and his legs felt like rubber. Slowly he closed his eyes. He didn't have much strength left and getting up again was definitely not an option today. So the weakened warrior let himself into sleep, which perhaps, or at least he hoped, would heal him.
